Great NYC style Halal food, quick service, reasonably priced. I recommend the chicken over rice. The chicken was marinated nicely and cooked just right. And the extra cup of white sauce was an extra bonus. Will definitely be back.

This food truck is amazing! Portion sizes are huge that you will go home with another meal! Chicken over rice was absolutely delicious. There was a sweet spice to it- can't pinpoint what it was but it elevated the overall dishFalafels we're good but the star of the show is really the lamb Lamb Gyro was best we've ever had Can't wait to come back

My wife and I had been waiting eagerly for weeks for this food truck to set up shop near us! Once we got our chance we shared the lamb over rice and the chicken gyro, and I was blown away by both.The gyro had more meat than any gyro I've ever had along with tons of flavor. The bread was also nice and fluffy compared with the usual boring gyro wrap. The lamb over rice was similarly packed with meat and just the right amount of sauce. Can't wait for this truck to return!

My wife and I love halal street food. We were excited to find this food truck on the south side of Charlotte. We drove quite a distance into Rock Hill near a high school on a weekday to give it a try. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the lamb and chicken combo, falafel, and baklava. It reminds me of the New York style halal food. Yellow basmati rice (mediterranean yellow rice), nice chunks of well seasoned and cooked lamb. A nice custom hot sauce and white sauce on top. The salad was better than what I've found at other Charlotte halal locations, with nice tomato, and fresh lettuce. The falafel was well done, crisp outside and good seasoning. The baklava was great, some of the best we've found in restaurants around. Assuredly, we will be back for more!

Deeeelish! Been meaning to try them for awhile now and as luck would have it they came to our area tonight. Hubby grabbed us an order of lamb over rice and a chicken gyro. They DEF don't skimp on meat and the gyro bread is super soft and fluffy. It was so packed I even have some left over. Would definitely recommend checking these guys out for a great halal plate!

First time eating here today. Had the Lamb Gyro and a Lamb over salad. Was the best I ever had. The spicy red sauce for the lamb had some kick to it when it makes my wife hiccup I know it's good and hot lol. Overall I will definitely follow this food truck for a future visit!!!

Was extremely excited to see a Halal food truck show up at Lore Brewing. Ordered the Falafel Sandwich, Chicken over Rice, and Baklava. Falafel was as good as I've had in any Middle Eastern restaurant, and the Chicken and Rice was quite tasty - didn't have yellow rice like in NYC, but instead had quite fragrant rice (basmati?) that I'm pretty sure was flavored with cinnamon and clove, potentially among other flavors. Actually preferred that to the yellow rice, and I've lived in NYC and was a frequent customer at Halal carts. Huge piece of baklava for a small price, too - next time I'll order more baklava, as even though it's a large piece, it's some of the best I've had in the Charlotte region. Didn't have the chance to try the lamb/gyro, but I'll be following the food truck from now on, and will definitely get the next time it's near me.

The chicken salad was really good and my husband's lamb on rice was very good. They used a very good heirloom cherry tomato in the salad, not the usual cheap tomato most restaurants use. We also ordered fries for a treat and it lived up to that. Delicious seasoning. We aren't big eaters so we had 2 meals a piece out of these orders and it was all just as good the second time.
