Lunch buffet with good service. A reasonable selection of proteins and carbs here to fill up and get back to work, the waitress was great at clearing dirty dishes and refilling drinks.The buffet line isn't huge but they still had enough room for the usual chicken and sauce and veggies and the like. A beef and broccoli had more beef than broccoli but it's all still there. Fried egg rolls and chicken nuggets and egg drop soup. The desserts were okay and looked a little dry so I got an ice cream sandwich from the cooler that was great.Overall, I thought it was pretty good. This place right here is located in Randelman, NC. It's not far from Asheboro, depending on where you stay. I ordered a general tso chicken combo and a large grilled chicken. The general tso was sauced up, fried just right and packed with flavor. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. The fried rice was good. The egg roll was decent. It would have been better if it had been hot and fresh. The grilled chicken came with white rice. It was a little sweet, but it was good. My experience here was good, and I would definitely come back. This is a good hidden gem, and I would definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I are new to the area, so we've been trying everything within 20 minutes of our house. We were pleasantly surprised with Happy China. We stopped in on a Sunday evening for the dinner buffet. There was a good selection of food and desserts. Everything we had was tasty and fresh. They kept all the food on the buffet stocked well and it was only $7.99/per person, definitely worth it! Also, the staff was very friendly and our drinks were kept full!

We eat here several times a month. It's great for quick and consistent American Chinese food. The buffet has several options and includes fruit and dessert. We get take out and our favorites are Szechwan chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The owners are nice and live nearby.

Pretty good food but a minimal selection. The food was constantly being refilled and was always hot. I will definitely be back but wish there were more options I.E. egg foo young, more shrimp dishes, etc .. I didn't even see crab Rangoon..
