Had the pleasure of walking into Sport's Connection and being charged $25 for a "new membership fee" according to the bouncer, Ray. I had no issue with this at all, went to the ATM to get the required funds and came back. I had my homie who was already inside to meet up with me so we could get clarification on the price of the membership. I noticed a guy who was already seated at the bar hold his hand up toward me to indicate the price he paid was $5 not $25. Regardless the bouncer told me that if I caused any problems he'd quote: "run my ass out". He then agreed to lower the price back down to the original price of $5, and informed me that the future cost of new memberships is $25. He handed me the clipboard to sign up, but I let him know I wasn't there to cause any problems, humbly thanked him for his cooperation and left instead of paying or signing up for anything.Despite me leaving without causing any trouble, and even thanking the bouncer, Ray for his cooperation, my homie let me know that upon me leaving Ray said "he was tired of niggas coming in and startin sh*t." Hmmm.... Pretty sure I'll never step foot in Sport's Connection in Hamlet, NC. Lesson learned
