Donations to Habitat Charlotte Region ReStores helps build affordable homes throughout our region.
Habitat Charlotte Region ReStore - Mooresville.
I Did NOT leave this note. Obviously another annoyed with the prices.
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region ReStores with locations in Pineville, Charlotte, Mooresville, Statesville, and Cornelius.
Several couches and chairs left outside uncovered in the rain. Would have taken larger frame picture but truck in the way.

Not the best Restore I have been to. The furniture wasn't in good shape, which could be from their apparent lack of appreciation of donations. Several donated couches and upholstered chairs sat outside in the rain: no tarp, no plastic covering it. I would not want to donate or to really shop at this location.

This is our go-to place for accepted donations from our Estate clean-outs. I know a lot of people and surrounding community are disappointed at how expensive many of Habitat of Humanity items are but I am always quick to remind them where the money goes. It would be different if they were selling items just for profit only but they do a lot of good things for people who need housing and assistance. Don't hesitate to give to HFH so it can go back into the community. Goodwill is a for profit donation business. Please do not compare them.

As a shopper, you need to plan to come with time to really peruse. They generally do a good job of grouping together, but every once in a while that white whale item I am seeking is not where it belongs and is found after I gave up and was looking around for nothing in particular. As a donor, you simply drive around back with your items, a volunteer will come and get your item, give you a tax receipt and you drive off having helped bring more funds to an amazing community program to house those in need. Can't get better than that!Located right behind Wendy's at Norman Station, in the old Staples building. Check it out and think of them for your useable home related donations!

Cheap stuff. Hit or miss. Lots of cheap furniture. However, two stars for rude staff. Specifically, one cashier always act like she has a stick up her.... yeah. So anyways. Rude staff.

It was my first time donating at the Mooresville location. When I got to the donation drop-off area, which is also the pick up area (I didn't know), I saw it was busy. I waited just inside the (not-well-marked) entrance, not knowing quite what to do. A worker waved me into a space between two big rental trucks, and then admonished me that he needed to get the other vehicles out, which I obviously could see, which is why I was waiting at the entrance. Then he continued to both berate me that I was in the way, and condescend to me as well.Needless to say, it will be my last donation there.

Our brother-in-law, Bill Todd, served Mooresville for many years through his construction work with Habitat. His recent death is not only a great loss for the family but for Habitat. He was one of the truly good guys and meant so much to so many. We already are sustaining members but will be giving an extra contribution to your regional Habitat in loving memory of Bill. I love thrifting and am a savvy shopper that knows what things cost. That's my problem with this place - its waaayyy overpriced. To the point of being obnoxious. Yes, I know where the money supposedly goes. I get it. But, why not do the community one better? Why not FAIR pricing? This way the community also benefits by getting a "deal" on something and the item will sell faster. And the store is still making money. Win-win, no? Instead, grossly overpriced. I've attached a picture of a piece that someone (NOT me) left a note on. "Item is at Lowes brand new, cheaper". Whomever prices needs to look at SOLD pricing on ebay, mp, live auctioneers to get better idea on value. Now the pros: Relatively clean and organized Book section is great - alphabetical & large selection Nice selection of items in general. Advice: if you go, before buying look up value of item you're interested in. I saw many things that were actually cheaper brand new.

The store closes early before stated closing time. I drove 45 minutes back to pick up a purchase. The manager was sitting at the doorway and stated that they were closing in three minutes. He would not let me pick up up my item. Very pissed at that!

Very rude staff, her name is :Gries Gutierrez . I bought the lawnmower at habitat in mooresville. I had gout attacked ,I can't come pick up on time , 2 day later I came to pick up . The staff tell me : " that is late , I sold it to someone" I can't refund money . It is ok if she sold it to somebody, but she doesn't want to return money. Last month I bought the parapin hot wax . It not work , 2 day later I return, she didn't take ,( the same lady) she said : this item is stay in the store over a year , but the recipe was 2 day before. She said no , she don't take it back. So I have to but it in the dumpster. She treated very good to her Friend that Mexican, she give them good discount, when they have good promotion she let her friend know. She treated people not good. I going to call BBB for this problem.

I usually don't have to prove my medical reasn behind not being able to wear a mask. I do social distance and wash hands frequently but thats not good enough for second hand store. They offered me a face shield then asked me to purchase it. I didn't even have it on when it fell apart. I left. I can spend my money elsewhere; that respects medical issues. Never again!!!
