Guidon Brewing

I met up with my husband and friends for whom Guidon was the final stop on their brewery crawl of downtown Hendersonville and we had dinner here. I had a wiener schnitzel, he had a jager schnitzel. I really liked the spaetzle and the cabbage it came with, and the sweet mustard they had in squeeze bottles by the pick up window helped with the schnitzel which while good was just a tad overcooked. The portion was huge, I couldn't finish it. I was really glad they had sodas on tap too, I'm used to meeting them at breweries and having nothing good to drink that isn't beer, and I'm just not a beer drinker even when I'm not designated driver. It's got a very casual country style ambiance, lots of tables, a decent amount of parking out front.

Stopped by on a Saturday early evening. Hardly no one there. Had the schwartzbier it was very good. A few more people showed up before we left. Service was good. Small place. Brewery was downstairs but didn't go and look.

If I had reviewed this 2 years ago it would have been 3-4 stars because they were still figuring out their brews and service model. Now... they deserve 5 stars!First to note is that the brewery has multiple places for you to sit and sip, all of which have their own vibe. Of course there's the bar and bar seating area, which is pretty standard. Just off the bar, but still inside, is a short flight of stairs up to a loft area with couches and coffee tables. Tucked away around the back of the bar are a short flight of stairs down to a basement-type area that has darts and patio furniture. Outside the big door from the bar is a huge wood deck with picnic tables on the other side of the railing. So there's a space for however you're feeling today!The beers are pretty tasty, too! And their kitchen is open and ready with some really good pub food. I appreciate that they always have some flavor of dark beer on tap, which is a rare gem in this area that's so focused on IPA's. Pro tip: on Tuesdays, 22oz pours are $6!!!!

Great place! Atmosphere was wonderful along with the staff. Beer was GREAT! Looking forward to my next visit and I'll be trying their food truck which I've heard is superb.

Best brewery in Hendo. Great, engaging atmosphere and the owners are simply just the best. Incredible food that is only matched with even better brews.

Visited as part of my yearly family birthday celebration. started with the pretzel, which came with beer cheese and mustard. Absolutely yumminess. Didn't care for the Mac and cheese, and the Plain Jane Cheese burger was exactly as stated, the pretzel bun was yum and I didn't realize I could add bacon which may have improved it. Several tasty beers. Was a bit warm inside (outside too). Loved the cozy loft area.

They make such good beer it's hard to choose just one! I got the Hefeweitzen & a mushroom flatbread. Chill vibe. Indoor/outdoor space. Dog friendly. Mood lighting on the deck. Free WI-FI. Just passing through and picked this place because it was closest to the place I was staying. Amazing random choice.

Great atmosphere, beer, setting, service. Very chill, welcoming place. Owners were informative and personable.

Good food, fun entertainment and great beer. What more can you want?!? My wife was of German heritage and their spaetzle is the best I've ever had from a restaurant.

Ciao Bella beer is great! Came here with friends. Hoping to come back. We ate before coking here, so we'll have to come back to have their food. We enjoyed beer from this brewery at the White Duck Tacos.
