Guadalajara Mexican Grill

My first time here but this may be our new go to spot for Mexican takeout in lexington. We got it to go but it was still hot and tasty by the time we got it home.

Very friendly and fast service , good food and good prices . The owner (old owner) is always as nice as can be and jokes and very helpful really makes it a joy to eat here

I was in Lexington running an errand and needed to grab something to eat. Stopping at the Guadalajara Grill was more a case of opportunity since it was right off of highway 64. The 3 1/2 star average rating didn't give me high hopes but it turned out to be a good choice. This is your average Mexican restaurant. You will find about the same things on the menu here as other similar locations. There is bar seating in the back. They have margaritas and other adult drinks both frozen and on the rocks. The Blue Margarita was pretty damn good.Now on to the food. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. Chicken soup and Polo Poblano are both excellent. I left very impressed with the food.This place also takes Apple Pay, along with cards and cash.

Service was exceptional, everyone was so kind and willing to help.So we got sat, ordered and waited over an hour to get our food... I'm willing to wait but what was brought to me was the most bland food I have ever put in my mouth.I got the marinated chicken breast with veggies, add onions and was covered in cheeses. When I tell you there was ZERO seasoning on any of it.. I couldn't even eat it. They were so kind offered to remake and take off the bill. I didn't want to have it remade I was just over it at that point. My partner got the street tacos which also lacked every bit of flavor it should have had.. a little salt and pepper goes a long way sometimes.

First time I've ever written a review and sis it is not it, don't waste your time or money, if I knew I was gonna order steak and shrimp and get nothing but onion I woulda stayed home and ate dirt, I did enjoy the soda though :)

Cold food, stale tortillas and raw shrimp Cooked to order food should be served hot. Health department needs to stop by.

Delicious food. More than I could eat in one meal. Very fresh and salsa was delicious

Awesome service. Great food. Would've easily been 5 stars except music so loud you couldn't hear person talking across the table, and salsa was way too bland; needs cilantro chopped vegetables instead of a purée.
