What a gorgeous place. Rolling green hills, a beautiful lake, and a beautiful indoor event facility. The food is amazing, the staff is fantastic. If you get the chance to attend an event there, you will love it!

Disappointed - this was 3rd time I had been here. The first 2 times were good food, live entertainment and friendly environment all around. This past Wednesday we showed up for the Porch Series at 5 pm to meet friends for a girls night out. We made our way inside, paid the $12 entry fee. We all passed on the wine and beer, the selection didn't seem to hit any of our pallets. Made our way over to get lemonade while gathering some closely situated rocking chairs to sit and catch up. The website said food was served from 5:30-7:30, so we were all a bit hungry and anxious, but the food did not get put out until almost 6:15 . The menu consisted of 2 different pastas - one pesto and one that had braised pork. The sides to accompany were a bread salad, mozzarella and tomatoes and a vegetable medley. We were extremely confused what could have caused the delay but we attempted to make the best of it and focus on our time of catching up with friends. The disappointment continued when one of our girls asked a staff member what was being served for dessert because previously we had had desserts like fresh peach cobbler, so we were fully prepared for something wonderful. The staff member replied that the dessert was the king pop stand that was set up out at the edge of the patio...pops were $3 each and so you paid extra if you wanted one. (Seriously?) Well, the one other key component to the evening is the entertainment which we had been thrilled with in the past. This particular night it was the rendition of 2 DJs playing obnoxious music. It became pretty noticeable that people migrated away from the loud music and it seemed like the farther people moved away, the louder the music got. This made it impossible to sit on the patio and enjoy any kind of conversation. We made away to the exit and we were humored to see the number of young parents who had moved their chairs and children to the outside area where the speakers were pointing away from. Oh well- lesson learned, based on food, timing, entertainment and cost, we won't be back.

We paid approximately $450 for what they call the "protein" share of the CSA which runs from May 7 thru July 30. I've received two bags of protein so far which have been less than desirable for the price paid. The first bag contained 1 chicken, stew beef, 1 long Italian link sausage and and one pound of ground pork sausage. This week I received one 3-1/2 lb beef roast and one 3-1/3 lb chicken. Last week I had to supplement what I received and again this week will have to do the same.. When I signed up for this endeavour I thought I would get a larger quantity of meat than I have so far. I can assure you that I won't be doing this anymore nor will I be recommending this to any of my friends. I can purchase more thru Omaha Steaks for the money and have a better quality of protein!

We held our company outing at Greenbrier Farms. It was perfect for a diverse group of people--young children to older adults. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was friendly and accomodating! Thank you for a special evening!

I am at the annual BBQ, beer and bluegrass event. It was $15 per adult for food beer and live music. Awesome little barn house for the event. Plenty of space and plenty of animals to see as you walk the grounds. Definitely a lot of fun.
