Picture of the bathroom down the road I had to visit since this Restore has no bathrooms.
Good vintage furniture selection at the ReStore Habitat for Humanity.

Oh wow this is by far is the worst Habitat for Humanity store I've been to. It kinda reminded me of a junk shop. The items they had on display outdoors were not the best items to be on display. Once inside the store is small and the items seem to be on top of one another. I was able to find 3 or 4 pieces of glass that I could use for my flowers but there wasn't much more inside for a reasonable price. I had high hopes for this location but the items I saw on this trip really killed that. Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity Restore2447 E John StMatthews, NC 28105(Review 509 overall, 53 in 2021)

So I drove all the way over to this location for nothing. If they are going to be closed for random personal matters, there should be more than just a sign posted out front. Too late of a warning at this point.

I like browsing at ReStore. The staff is very friendly and always helpful by putting my purchases in the back of my car. There is something different every week. You can find vintage Pyrex dishes at low price. I purchased two pieces $4.00 each. Antique dealers usually ask $18.00 to $20.00. Last week I got lucky and found two pyrex casserole dishes for $3.00 a piece. I am also very happy with my $5.00 blue wooden chair.

Stopped by this place super randomly today and I'm glad I did. It's not like the other Habitat stores I've visited in the Charlotte area....The space is smallish, the staff are pleasant, the pricing and inventory (today at least) was perfect. It's definitely worth the drive from the city proper to check out the selection. They have a bit of everything.

I'm a 'long timer' at this Habitat REstore and make sure to stop in EVERY time I am making at trip to or through Matthews. Like all the REstores, it's hit or miss and you have to BUY it the day you see it here or it WILL be gone! I found the prices at THIS one to be more than reasonable, too. ALL their workers are friendly and take time to help you or answer questions. I only wish that they would locate to a LARGER building...the size of the Wendover Habitat REstore would be wonderful! I have seen they do carry a few appliances at this store, too, (unlike the Wendover store).Only one 'con' and that has to be the limited parking close to the store some days.

Drove here from Fort Mill and waste of time. Needed about 20 blinds but not at their price. Cheaper to buy new. Can't believe the price for their paints. Meeting with someone selling $5 per gallon rather than pay $20-35/gallon here. Wow! Don't need to come back here. The selections do not compare to the Rock Hill store.
