Goodwill - University

Update 1/2022Ok so now I'm disappointed. This store has definitely gone down hill. They removed the dressing rooms to make more space.. and that's all you see is space. I now rarely walk out with anything these days

This location has pretty good merchandise and clothes most of the time. I have found many household items for a great deal. I like kitchen gadgetry and unusual items. I find lots of that here. The clothing always depends on what has been donated but there's always several great finds if you are willing to dig. The prices are mostly fair. The employees are friendly. The parking lot is convenient. I enjoy shopping here.

I came in with my husband, looking for a dress for an up coming event. At a glance, the clothes and fixtures were neat and dust free. With a closer look, the merchandising didn't make much sense. The dresses were in three different places and I'm not sure how they were trying to organize them.After a bit of looking we managed to find 2 dresses for me to try on. The fitting room was old, grungy, dark and really needs the be cleaned and updated. I went up the the register and 3 girls ignored me and walked away. They were talking loudly about something smelling strongly of urine and it made it it hard to interject. Eventually one of them came and we paid and left.

This is a surprisingly adequate location. Although smallish it is well managed and amply stocked. Employees are also friendy and helpful. Look closely however because the building is somewhat hidden behind a gas station.

I feel the need to comment on this Goodwill namely because I found an awesome Callaway sweater for $5 (retail around $80). There were a few other items that I probably could've pulled the trigger on and bought here, but I feel confident I will be back again. I could not find any dress shirts that were my size, but my friend found a few really nice Brooks Brothers shirts. The majority of the store was clothing which was honestly what I was shopping for anyway. You can count on really cheap prices here, and if you're willing to dig, you can definitely find a few gems tucked away. Good luck searching...Overall 5 stars for the Callaway jacket!

I don't know what this store considers a t- shirt , but it's not my idea. I was going to purchase a long sleeve tshirt off the 2.99 t shirt rack and was paying for it when the clerk informed me that it wasn't a tshirt and was 3.99. I walked out - it's not like Goodwill is a deal anymore...

Yelp's location is wrong... address is right but the pin is in the wrong place. That said, this goodwill is pretty standard, but is good in that their inventory changes almost daily. That means you can see new things regularly, but what you want may be gone if you don't snatch it up when you have a chance. The employees are prone to sudden anger when they forget to input their store-wide discount and you thereafter request it, but luckily, as I found, the anger is mostly directed at themselves.

I have had it with this store. They need to train their employees at the donation section to be nicer and to NEVER yell at a customer donating. If you don't want a customer to get out of the car, say it nicely. Do not yell. This man today was unbelievably rude. Said he would get the stuff out of our car and kept gesturing to stop. He did all of this in front of another customer. We told him he needed to be nicer and he rolled his eyes. If you have rules, post a huge sign for everyone to see. But to teach your employees to yell? My father didn't need that today. He hardly has a voice due to cancer and he was yelling back at the employee to be nice. I am so furious. I will never step foot in a Goodwill again. Also, I don't need employees touching my car. We can't get out but you can open the door and reach for items in my car? This is the second time I have seen this happen. Over a year ago a man yelled at the person I was with and was nasty. Unacceptable.

Love the stuff they have available in the store. The management that works at this location is horrible. Particularly the African American supervisor and the young supervisor girl with glasses with long brown hair. I am sick of the way they treat there customers they should both be fired. They need extensive training in how to speak to customers in a positive manner. They are always rude and always got something smart to say. If someone has a number to go higher up to complain I will do so. I spend a lot of money at Goodwill and I am beyond done with my family being mistreated.

Your lead manager with the snake tattoo on her hand is extremely rude, there was a line of about 10 people asked if she could open another register and we were told no because it there were the only one there when there were 3 other workers on the floor then proceeded to throw my thing around and when I made it known that I see her position is lead manager she changed her attitude real quick. Then someone found a phone on the ground and she wanted to try and act like she was to good to speak back to the lady and all she was trying to do was give her a phone found on the ground. Good customer service goes a long way and I won't be back to this location
