Goodwill - Monroe

The store is big, well lit, and clean. The parking is plentiful. Unfortunately, the merchandise balance in this store is heavy on the clothing. They have tons of clothing- especially women's clothing. The houseware section is limited. The furniture section is sparse. I didn't find anything that I needed and I left empty handed.

My wife and I were in line yesterday evening, sometime after 8:00, when we overheard two cashiers making fun of a young lady who was checking out. This took place in the presence of her small child. They were pretty rude; laughing and talking negatively about her loud enough for us to hear when there were several other people in front of us, so I know the mother and daughter had to of heard also.We felt we had to bring this to your attention, and we will not be shopping here again in the future!

The thrill of the hunt! I always find something good here. Its a big store with lots of racks decently organized but be warned, this does make it busy! To find the good stuff you have to go often but its worth it to find that gem for one dollar! They have vinyls pretty often and if you go through them, be a dear and put the broken or missing ones aside. Also don't forget to donate your items here instead of throwing them away. It's the circle of life! (cue Lion King music...)

This Goodwill is one of the most highly visible, located off of 74 between Charlotte and Monroe. Still a fairly new location, it has great parking and easy drop off. It is also one of the most organized and neatest. I personally have not had a lot of luck here, but it is always crowded and it is among the friendliest by far.

Lately, this store has gone downhill and fast. I went in there yesterday, waited just a bit to check out before a white elderly lady helped me. I've taken to her before and asked would you be open to some feedback? You know what she said? She said, no. Amazing! The day before that I saw a relatively nice sports jacket. So I put it on and looked for a mirror to see how it looked on me. I looked but didn't see a mirror. So I asked a black lady if they had a mirror. She looked at me, said no, then turned and walked away. Amazing! Here's my feedback for what it is worth. Whoever is pricing the donations for sale needs either drug testing or guidance. A lot of the goods are broken or in terrible condition and should be discarded. It all goes to leadership. Whoever is managing this store should be released.

watch this store. they are over pricing things. Also when I asked about their Goodwill Color of the Week the girl at the register stated that they don't do discounts on items at all. What type of goodwill is this? I'll tell you it's a money making goodwill. I bought a little dog figure that was priced at 8.99. Found it at the counter because a senior man had to put it back because it was out of his budge. They don't have senior day discount. This is so disgusting. I am going to find out why they are able to get away with this. Especially when ALL of there items are donation.

This is the best Goodwill I've been to. I loved it because they used circular racks for clothing. Most Goodwill stores use only straight racks. The circular racks made it so easy to browse without awkwardly running into other customers, which happens frequently with the straight racks. This store didn't have a large selection of children's clothing, but there were plenty of great items in the women's section. The dressing room area seemed crowded at times, but I was so pleased with the circular racks that the dressing room crowd didn't deter me.
