Goodwill - Denver

I rarely shop her but at least twice a year, we go through our closet and take some of our gently used clothes to Goodwill. Been more lately since I went on a diet and lost some weight and nothing fits but before I buy replacements, time to clean out the closets and make room.My eldest son is a big fan of Goodwill, and I think half of his wardrobe came from Goodwill.It's a clean store, well organized and from what I can see, the quality of the merchandise is very good. Considering where we live, we live next to some high-income areas and that is reflected in the goods being offered.Looking to stretch your budget, this might be a good place to start.

Although I didn't purchase anything, I found the store well stocked upon arrival after 6PM on opening day. I had heard about many purchases earlier in the day. I didn't need anything but decided I should ease my curiosity by stopping in for a look. The parking lot was full and the patrons in the store were buzzing around with carts full. This is a clear indication that this store was much needed in the Denver area. I am ecstatic that shoppers appeared to be having a great time in the store.

The wife and I have been in this Goodwill many times since it opened here in Denver and have picked up some good bargains.Unlike most other Goodwills and Restores who's prices are now outrageous since they have re-opened from the lock down, the prices here seem to be reasonable for used items all though you will find some items that are over priced. Clothing prices are higher than they used to be, but you can still get some bargains with careful shopping. The only thing I don't like about this store is clothing is sorted by type and color, not size.All employees we have encountered have been friendly and every time we have donated items, they guys that come out to collected the donations are helpful and have always thanked us for the donations. They also have public restrooms unlike the Restore here in Denver that will no longer let you use the restrooms there.Over all we are happy this Goodwill opened here in Denver and just hope the pricing doesn't get ridiculously high like it has at the Denver Restore.
