Good Wood Pizzeria

This place is great! Staff was friendly and helpful. When you come in you fill out a slip for each person about the pizza that you want, grab your drink, pay and then head to the patio. The patio is covered, spacious and has heaters and fans. It was wonderful out there. The pizzas are all single serving, thin crust pizzas and they are made in wood fire oven. Personally, I liked the crust. The pizza is a bit light on sauce, which I didn't mind. Just know that extra sauce is an option on the list and may be worth considering. We all thought it was a good amount of cheese. We really enjoyed this place and will be back!

Cute little pizza spot located in the heart of downtown Town Square Lincolnton. Locally owned and operated; this place boasts some splendid flavors and a quaint atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is they messed up my order but ended up giving me the pizza even though I didn't end up eating the shiitake mushrooms with white sauce & crushed red pepper flakes bc it was terrible. But the pepperoni pizza we ordered was absolutely delicious. I wish they had a much needed sense of urgency when making the pizzas but it's the South and maybe it's me who needs to relax and just enjoy the moment. No idea. Anyway, I think this place is great and the wood fired crispy crust on the personal pizza was mouthwatering and delightful. Go here and support local bc you won't regret it.

My husband and I both love their pizzas! With having new owners, they now offer vegan and veggies pizzas as well! I love the outdoor seating area!

Excellent service as soon as you walk in, greeted immediately. 10 " pizzas made to order fast and great. Very small venue with most of the dining area outside behind restaurant. I am assuming the it was the owner, but he gave everyone a free icee after they were done eating.

Great food from the pizza to any of the Togo frozen food homemade lasagna or stuffed shells or one of my favorite, the meatballs, fresh baked bread all done in the brick oven. And the owners who are so friendly and caring about the products and the guests happiness is second to none.. make sure to stop in say hi grab a personal pizza with the freshest ingredients and a changing menu with the seasons. You will not be disappointed

Good Wood creates a pizza for each individual. You select it and they will make it. My favorite is the cauliflower crust pie with veggies.Enjoy

After hiking the Carolina Thread Trail (South Fork Rail Trail), we went to Good Wood Pizza for lunch. There were seven of us. After placing our order, we chose a nice large table on the outdoor patio. Excellent and fast service. All of the pizzas were tasty. We stayed and visited for over hour after we finished eating. The staff checked on us often and also chatted with us. Before we adjourned, we shared two delicious mixed berry turnovers.

The food, the service and the ambiance was perfect for a summer evening! The magnetite pizza was amazing and perfectly made for me. The staff took extra precautions to make sure that there was no cross contamination issues to assure that I had a safe dining experience. We will come back again!! They even grow their own vegetables too.

Fantastic pizza with your choice of handpicked toppings. Nice and cozy outside eating area year round. Food was served promptly and the taste is mouth watering. Did I mention the pizza is fantastic?! They will not disappoint.
