Such an incredible, delicious menu! Love the fresh bread with dipping sauce & the generous glasses of wine. Our server went above & beyond. Such a lovely place & local jewel. It is worth a visit anytime you're near here. So Yummy!

This place was decent, especially the bread and dipping sauce for it - that needs to be trademarked! ;)Let me see, this is an Italian place run by a Brazilian restauranteur. Some was really nice, some was middle of the road. A mix. The outside looks a bit inconspicuous, like it's a butcher or a deli, kind of non-descript. The wait wasn't too bad, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was congenial, the eggplant parm was just so-so to be honest. I expected something with a lil flair, but it lacked anything different. The dinner salad was decent. People spoke very highly of this spot, but if I lived local I probably might only go here a few times annually to be honest. It was OK.

This place has two names, Good Fellas and Chef Santos. I think it may be technically "Chef Santos Good Fellas". This place is really good. I have eaten here several times and is one of my favorite restaurants in Salisbury. It offers high quality Italian food but with a non pretentious atmosphere. You can dress up if you want or go casual. The waitresses are always knowledgable regarding the specials of the day as well as the main menu. The wine selection is not extensive by any means, basically bottles priced $30 and lower, but it works. The bread is great. There are two Italian restaurants on east Fisher (Cartucci and Good Fellas/Chef Santos). I like Cartucci, especially their desserts, but Chef Santos is better overall. You normally don't need it but I would recommend calling ahead and making reservations just to be safe.

This is my fav place to go when in Salisbury - but this place has two names and is a bit confusing on Yelp. The phone number posted doesn't work here - so try the number listed a Chef Santos. At any rate - I can't say enough about this place - just make SURE you try the Brazilian Cappachino and check out my reviews Chef Santos - same place trust me!

We called about 4:00 on Friday afternoon to see if we could get reservations, for a party of 5, they said yes... we got a 5:30 reservation. We got to the restaurant and they had no record of our reservation, I gave the name of the person I spoke to and that person did not remember taking the reservation. They said they would squeeze us in, they acted like they were doing us a HUGE favor. My dinner was good, not great. Some people in our party loved their dinner, some people were not so happy. Portions seemed a little small. Service was not that great, we were forgotten several times and had to litterally FLAG our waitress down. My husband and I returned on a second visit on a week day, we idd not make a reservation, at first they seemed very friendly and helpful but again we got forgotten. We had different entrees than our previous visit and the food was better.

Italian food here is boring and mediocre. Vibe, menu and food is 30 years back in time.Eggplant Parmesan $13.95 for 1 piece of eggplant, heavily breaded, mozzarella cheese and lots of spaghetti and red sauce. Not very tasty, needed to add salt and even then not very tasty. I ate half eggplant, and non of the spaghetti/red sauce. Came w/ garden salad which was fresh if not interesting (greens, 1/2 slice tomato, slice cucumber, carrots)Spaghetti with meatsauce $13.95Basic, this dish was ok, 8 y.o. like it ok, only ate half and he is a big eater who loves spaghetti and meat sauce.Calamari (appetizer)some pieces were crispy, but most of it was in one big, clump, no salt added, not very flavorful. Served w/ same red sauce (tastes like tomato sauce not cooked) as on top of Eggplant Parm.Pasta Fagiole White Bean SoupBasic. Needed salt. Broth tasted beany to me, husband said it was ok.Service was fine.Brought a nice, toasted bread w/ olive oil balsamic before meal;water was refilled often;overall food was fresh enough, prepared with some care, but no flavor. They are NOT ingredient based. Also, they served alot of VEAL which in my book is absolutely horrendous, an outcome of our industrial dairy industry. The time travel back 30 or 40 years was somewhat nostalgic, but not worth going here for the boring food.We don't live in Salisbury, was on the road driving back to triangle from Renaissance Fair, needed a place for dinner. Found this place on YELP which gave it overall 4 stars. Needs to be downgraded to 2 stars.
