I always visit this ice cream shop when I'm in town. The shop offers ice cream flavors that are very unique. They have a rotating flavor menu. At one visit, they even rotated the menu while I was there. I've always tried a new flavor every time and all have been good. The shop is small and seating is offered in the outside courtyard. It always seems like they don't have enough employees however I get it. There's a labor shortage right now. Free samples offered. I've never had to park in this area so I don't know how the parking works.

Yum! Gotta give it to 'em-- this ice cream is tasty! The Dunkamoo shake was perfect, and the hubs' salted Oreo didn't disappoint either. Golden Cow is a great ice cream option. Signed, an ice cream snob who gets it!

Must try: Salted Oreo! Why: That Salted Oreo was highly recommended and their best seller, which I now understand why! It was so good!Notes: Convenient location next to my hotel and office in Uptown. Clean and spacious interior. I came on a weekday around 4pm so there was nobody waiting in line. Had a great convo with the worker who allowed me to try a few flavors. I love the kiddie size and also the prices were cheaper than other popular ice cream parlors. Definitely coming back!

Golden Cow Creamery was the perfect way to end our night! With an incredible variety of flavors to choose from, it was hard to pick just one. I ended up trying the Blackberry Hibiscus, and it was **YUMMYYYYYY**! The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and had such a unique, refreshing flavor. It was absolutely delightful and made me want to come back for more. The service was just as impressive--quick, responsive, and friendly. Even though the place was busy, the staff made sure to get our orders out fast, while still being patient as we took our time choosing (because the options were that good!).Located in downtown, Golden Cow Creamery is in the perfect spot for a post-dinner or evening treat. The atmosphere is lively, and the experience really rounded out a wonderful night. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit, especially if you're a fan of high-quality ice cream and excellent service!

Golden Cow did not need a glow up, she was born ready with this salted Oreo. Finally, an ice creamery that can be responsible with my dearly beloved, Simon-logic fuel: the humble Oreos, from such places you might know as packages stuffed into your desk at work, your desk at home, your suitcase, your briefcase, the glovebox in your car (no gloves in that box), and as recently as five minutes ago, your estomago. I had been walking around Charlotte with the individually wrapped Star Wars Oreos packages (assigned Sith at birth, dangit) in my pockets shortly before I ended up here. Oreos? I love her and trust her to make everything better from festive Oreos (like the new Star Wars ones) to improving pudding (Oreo pudding) or birthday cake, pie, protein bars, ice cream, protein shakes, and miscellaneous beyond that.In the CLT look no further than the Golden Cow for your tasty treat. Here are five reasons why:Their online menu actually matched the in-store menu, which was too difficult for Two Scoops Southend to manage, that is one.Friendly, personalized welcome when you walk in the store, even with a crowd forming before the Charlotte FC game, that is two.Free sample offered without any commentary or side eye so you can confirm that the salted Oreo does indeed live up to its hashtag girlboss reputation before you order for realsies, that is three.Clean tables and stools to sit and feast upon, with plentiful napkins nearby if you are a sloppy bear like Bob Belcher, that is four. The absolute delight that is biting into the salted Oreo, easily one of the most satisfying riffs on cookies & cream (neé dream) I have ever had, that is five. The Oreo is still Oreo-ish leaving the cookie constructed with that classic Oreo bite rather than the dull floppy Hydrox, the salt hits the sweet, and kaboom, you are in flavour country with Mayor-Sheriff Lucas Simms all over again. As the photos indicate, this not a ratio of one Oreo cookie to a whole tub of plain ice cream. There are multiple Oreos in there for sure, yessir. Perfectly situated just outside the museum row on Tryon for comings and goings on a museum day, as well as a divine snack on the way to the stadium for a Charlotte FC game if you want to go with legendary ice cream for $5-6 rather than whatever the stadium is going to have.I cannot find a single fault with my experience at the Golden Cow since they made it look so flawless, effortless, and beautimous compared to Two Scoops Southend. Golden Cow is like your pretty friend that does the "no makeup" makeup look and nails it. The lesser places, in comparison, just don't "eat" the same way. Sure their ice cream may be cold, but is it worth writing home about? The salted Oreo is worth writing home about; need me an ice cream freak like that, especially for less than a sawbuck.Oreos make everything better, so I salute the person that thought why not salt too. It works babey, it works.

Golden Cow Creamery is a true gem for ice cream lovers. One of the best parts of the visit was being able to sample any flavor we wanted before making a decision. I settled on one of my favorites, the honey lavender ice cream, while my friend opted for a flight to try multiple flavors. The honey lavender was absolutely delightful--smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. It was a refreshing treat on a hot summer night, just what I needed. The staff was friendly and patient, adding to the pleasant experience.Golden Cow Creamery is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, high-quality ice cream in Charlotte. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors!

Such delicious creamy ice cream with so many cool flavors. Golden cow is a busy spot uptown especially on a warm night! We'd eaten dinner next door at Dos Caminos and decided to get a cone and sit outside. They have a line you can go through pretty quick and it's got pints you can get to go. I don't get many pics as the ice cream melted pretty quick as it was warm out! Trust me though it's all good ! We had a few different flavors, mine was the mocha and mint chip which I loved as it was the white mint chip not the fake green looking one! The mocha was delicious and had a good coffee flavor. The mango was also really good . As was the key lime , not super tart but good limey ness !! It's a basic ice cream shop inside but with a great location and some good choices. Loved our late night treat!

After lunch, we decided to stop by here and get some ice cream! We came at the perfect time because after we got our ice cream, the indoor seating filled up pretty quickly, and the line was to the door. We were able to walk in and get waited on pretty quickly, looking in the icecream case the ice cream did not look to good and they weren't labeled, which I never noticed was a big deal until this very moment. I like to see what flavor the ice cream is and pick it that way, they did have the flavors listed on the board above, but boy was that a mind bender not being able to know which container had said flavor in it! LolAnyway, I'm an 80's baby, and dunkaroos was a thing when I was a kid, and they had a dunkamoo flavor. My son tried a sample and wanted a kiddie scoop of that. I sampled the maple walnut and really liked it, so I decided to get two scoops on a waffle cone, one flavor which I regret was the dunkamoo, it was too sweet for me and I'm not really a sprinkles girlie and I'm not sure what the solid bits were (cookie or cake pieces, this is why we need labels with descriptions) but I didn't like the flavor or texture. Looking back, I should not have trusted my 8-year-olds tastebuds and should have gotten two scoops of the maple walnut ice cream! The shop was nicely lit and clean. Seating inside is very limited, but there is a little courtyard outside with plenty of bench seating. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if ever in the area and we have a hankering for ice cream, we'll be back!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for Golden Cow ice cream--and trust me, this place is worth the shout!I'm still on cloud nine after visiting this udderly amazing ice cream spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an aroma so sweet, it's dairy hard to resist. I went for the salted Oreo, and it was the cream of the crop--absolutely delicious. With so many fresh, homemade flavors, it's like having a sundae every day would be the ultimate scoop of happiness. If only I lived closer, I'd be moo-ving in!
