Really nice Italian restaurant in LOSO, modern interior, nice bar area, friendly staff, pretty nice varied menu. We went for a holiday friends dinner on a Sunday, not crazy busy, but a nice flow of customers. We were seated at a nice high top kinda table, we took pictures by their pretty tree, then tried to pick a few dishes to share. Drinks first, I had the Benedictine old fashioned, lovely bold cocktail, definitely a sipper! My friends had a glass of Rosé, nice , dry and crisp. The Trento margarita, I tried this and was very good, loved the coconut flavor, also the sesto martini had nice orange finish. They had some specials , soup and entrees, but we went with the main menu, starting with the bread service which they provide, was really good quality bread with a nice dipping oil. We also had the stuffed mushrooms, delicious, with sausage and vodka sauce, nice light, great app. We ordered 3 entrees which was perfect for the 4of us. The pappardelle with wild mushrooms, didn't look great but tasted really good! I love that thick pasta, and it held the sauce really well, herby, white wine creamy broth. Loved this, very hearty being a veggie dish. The gnocchi pesto primavera was also nice, light, with seasonal vegetables, pecorino cheese, this was led by their fresh pesto, gnocchi was really good. The cavatelli, red sauce, pancetta, mint, basil and pecorino cheese. As good as this looked , it was a little salty, otherwise great flavor, but the salt overpowered, the pasta itself was really good . Honestly all dishes were a little salt heavy. Still edible. But more than I like. Desserts, they had some classics, we really wanted the tiramisu, as you do when your at an Italian,but they were out, nothing else really appealed. So we just had a bottle of wine instead! Nice super Tuscan red blend. One of my friends ordered an espresso martini, if you like milky ones this is your kind, not the kind I like, I think a little too much baileys, even my friend said so! Overall nice place, we enjoyed the dining experience, food not perfect but not bad either.

The service and atmosphere were top notch. We were well attended and the restaurant is beautiful. Our server was quick and attentive.My wife and I ordered the tomato bruschetta for a starter. One of the best bruschetta's I've every enjoyed. The plate is served with four large pieces and given the size I think it may be a bit much for two as a starter but that didn't stop us. For entrees I enjoyed the gnocchi and my wife ordered pappardelle with mushrooms and cream sauce. My gnocchi was good but my wife's pappardelle was excellent. The meatiness of the mushrooms and the pappardelle noodles were filling and the cream cause was very flavorful. My gnocchi was equally as flavorful with a pesto sauce but I enjoyed the meatiness of the mushrooms in my wife's dish much more.The two disappointments were the tiramisu we ordered for desert and the price. My wife read where someone quoted that the restaurant claims this to be authentic and a recipe straight out of Italy. What we ordered was not (and I've been to Italy and eaten my fair share of tiramisu). Ours came out with a less than desirable presentation. The bottom have was a soggy mess. I feel like this was the last piece in a mass produced tray that was about to be thrown out. Given the price of the dish, and the rest of the food, this dish was unacceptable. Lastly, the prices overall were a tad bit high. Given the area the restaurant is located, I get it. We ordered an app, two wines each, two entrees (both vegetarian) and the tiramisu and we were in for $180, a bit steep for Italian.

We really enjoyed the food here! We left feeling satisfied and would go back and bring friends. The staff were friendly and accommodating! The overall feel of the restaurant is boring and could use a little TLC to make it feel more welcoming and warm. Theres nothing on the walls and a recommendation, they should add shades at the bar. Be warned, if you sit at certain seats at the bar during sunset, you will be blinded by the light!Our food was very good. We did have a hiccup with the linguine Vongole but the chef corrected it and it was much better second go around. The lasagna was awesome! Definitely something I would recommend trying!Desserts were also very good and you can tell there is a lot of thought in the menu. With it still being so new, it's understandable there are kinks still but we did enjoy our evening here and will be back.

Had the pleasure of trying this place out at a private event. We had a special drink menu and received free apps. All the drinks were free good and the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the pizzas. Parking can be a hassle though since it is in southend which always has way more people than parking spaces, so if possible I would definitely suggest doing a rideshare or carpooling.

Beautiful new place in the Charlotte burbs. Found it online and went with the family. Waitress was ok, not much personality. Could have smiled and been more friendly. It was fine when we walked in then got very cold. I asked one waiter then ours about getting the heat on. It seemed to be an issue. Nonetheless, the food was great. I would go back.

Let me start this off by saying this will be part 1 of my review since we popped in & had drinks and appetizers at the bar while we were waiting for the remainder of our party to join us next door. However, I'm already a fan of this establishment! As soon as you walk in the esthetic is so modern, clean, & inviting you're immediately sucked in. Once at the bar, our lovely Karoline helped us out with the menu items & was extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant as she provided us with some history behind the name. We got the stuffed mushrooms which had sausage on a plate of vodka sauce. They were phenomenal! Paired with a glass of Cab Sauv & my boo grabbed the italian mule. We enjoyed every minute of our short visit & can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu.
