Had the lobster tail and filet mignon ended up getting sick off the lobster tail. It wasn't fully cooked. I was sick for three days. Notified the restaurant but I never heard anything back from them. I love this restaurant. I go all the time but I guess this just was a bad night and a bad three days for me.. but I still love this restaurant one of my favorites

We have been here in the past and found it to be ok. Here we tried it again.Service: I would have given a negative. Continue to have empty glasses. Had to ask for bread. Never was asked if we wanted cheese ontop of entree. Food. Chicken parm was dry and the spaghetti was liked it had been cooked the day before. Lasagna looked like soup. For the money we pay I really expected it to be better. I guess I will stick with Olive Garden

Visited Giannos recently with my husband and as usual the food was delicious! We both got the chicken rollantini. This was the first time trying it and it did not disappoint! The house salad was fresh and crisp. The blue cheese dressing isn't chunky like I prefer but still good. Service was good but a tad slow because we had the bartender who was also trying to serve the bar which was his priority understandably. The restaurant is dimly lit in the evenings but not incredibly quiet. It's one of our favorite restaurants in High Point so we will definitely be back.

Well.... I haven't had good Italian in a while and looked on Yelp to get a suggestion. Came to Giannos. And I'm still in search is a good Italian restaurant. 0 minute wait so we went to the bar. I saw Limoncello and was excited to get a glass. I asked how the bartender would serve it and he replied "in a Margarita or lemon drop". Wow. Italian place. Beautiful Italian liqueur and he wouldn't recommend in a chilled glass? I got N Old fashioned.... He macerated some marching cherries and almost forgot the bitters. Topped it off with some ice cubes. We were shown to our seats and a couple menus dropped on the table. Plastic sleeve menus you might get at a pizza joint. Our waitress came by and took our drink order. We asked some questions about the menu. I joked that I was looking forward to some great Italian. She recommended the Chicken Marsala.. I went with the suggestion.Uh.... Not sure what can they got the sauce from or where they found that grilled chicken goes in this Knorr gravy but it was not an Italian Chicken Marsala. I miss the days when a chef would cook you food. Not get some chicken out of a water bath on the stove, dump some pasta on a plate and rope it with. Pre made sauce. Unforgivable. I am typically pretty forgiving but I worked for some amazing Italians. I will not be going back.

Met up with my father for dinner. Had a late lunch so just ordered a salad...little did I know how massive these salads are!!! Served in a pizza crust baked into a bowl shape, this thing was way more than a single human needs, but tasted grate. Loaded with big chunks of bacon, this wedge salad is packed full of flavor. The salad is made up of iceberg lettuce with Roma tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and a delusions blue cheese dressing, and it could honest feed 2 people as a whole meal. With optional add ons, you could get chicken added for an additional cost, but I did not need it. Ive always loved this spot, great for a romantic Italian dinner or an amazing pizza lunch buffet. I would recommend, and will certainly be back!

It's honestly going to pain me a little bit to write this. I have been a very loyal Gianno's customer for, well, the entire time they have been open... that's surpassing 20 years now. Thick and thin, across many ownership changes, kitchen and management changes, they had managed to keep the food pretty consistent, and at a good value for local people. The pandemic made things rocky, not just for them but of course for the entire industry. We stuck it out through that, there would occasionally be a sub-par experience, but usually our next one would be what we had come to expect, and we still felt overall that everything on the menu was on par with the prices they asked.Even at the beginning of this year, with prices everywhere rising a lot (and their's no different) we still felt that they remained competitive, and it was all tasty and good enough to keep coming, just maybe a little less often.Unfortunately, they just continue to get more expensive while most places have leveled off, and it's now at a point we didn't feel what we got was worth it. Not even a pretty basic dish like chicken parmigiana is fairly priced now, and appetizers have become unreasonable.Bread does remain complimentary, but has become dry and hard the last few times, and no longer appears to be baked in house. A recent order of baked spaghetti was so watery, I had to ask for a new side of marinara to dip it in. This used to be a no fail dish. At our most recent dinner there, the entire table felt let down by what they got flavor wise, as did I when another "no fail" dish failed me, the Penne el Greco. This all said, 20 years is an incredible run to love a place. I'll surely try it again someday, but on their current track, I just don't know when that day will be. Especially with others in the Triad offering consistently tasty alternatives. I hope this feedback is helpful if someone in management reads it.

Giannos is consistently good. I've been here several times and will go back. We went with a fairly large group and the staff were very accommodating. Our waitress was very helpful and did a great job. We had several different appetizers. The firecracker shrimp and fried mozzarella were the best. Calamari definitely could have been hotter; served with pretty generic sauces. The pizzas there are excellent. Good crust and the right amount of toppings. Definitely recommend and I'll be getting that again when I return. The best pasta dish I had was the chicken picatta. The lasagna was OK. Portions for the baked spaghetti were huge. You definitely get enough for your money. The stromboli is another good choice. This is a good place to go and have a good bite with friends. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

The worst French onion soup ever-burnt, and way, way too hot. The iced tea and water hardly had any ice. The pasta was gummy/pasty. Left the table for 5 seconds and the bus boy pocketed my hand sanitizer. Just a bad experience all the way around. Won't be back, for sure.

Outstanding! Lots of meal options Food was delicious. And the server, Maria, made the experience especially enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, efficient, patient, flexible and friendly. (Great smile). I am from Michigan. Next time I travel to North Carolina, I WILL return to Giannos of High Point. "Eccellente"
