This is a truly revealing history of Cherokee County, S.C. The Visitors Center is located in the former Gaffney Post Office. The building was refurbished and transformed into what it is today. It's probably been about two or three years since I've been in here and a lot has changed for the better! Better than ever i'd say! I was very warmly greeted by a lady staff member who was very knowledgeable about local history. There is a lot to see and a lot to learn here. This is a great introduction to our county and city and I recommend it to everyone!
