Funohcakes stood out to me during Black Restaurant week. I wasn't able to visit during that week but I made it a point to stop by the next week. I was excited to hear they extended their 3 for $10 mini funnel cake promotion til the end of the month. I brought the nibbling and let them each pick out a funnel cake to try. One choose the classic vanilla and the other got red velvet. I did 2 of the deals so I got to pick 4 other flavors. I choose the Lemon Pound Cake, Peaches & Cream, Sweet Blueberry Infused and the Cookies and Cream. I sampled most of the funnel cakes and they all had great flavor and taste. The nibblings loved theirs and loved the personalized size. I was glad that they each could get their own and be to pick the flavor based on their individual tastebuds. I was really impressed with all of the flavors. I think my favorites were the Lemon Pound Cake and the Cookies and Creams. I actually ate the Cookies and Cream the next day and it still tasted amazing. My niece has already asked to go back. I will have to keep a strict watch on their IG page. I sugar coat everything ‼Kind of like this amazing cookies & cream funnel cake. All the fun of the fair was right here at Fun Oh Cake . Note that they are an actual food truck . The owner is super sweet . They offer variety of flavors. These are the funnel cakes you didn't know you needed in your life until now . This is your sign to check them out ASAP‼

I'll be honest. My FunOhCake didn't make it home...I horked it down with no shame! The owner Patrick is full of energy and delivers innovative Funnel Cake combinations to satisfy your cravings. The service is quick and the funnel cakes are piping hot and beautifully decorated! During my visit I tried the latest creation - The Skillet Fried APPLE FunOhCake! I loved the taste of the apples! I hope this item is available again in the Fall.

Yay!!!!! Erica Rocks....what a pleasure to walk up to her food truck and see her pretty smiling face! She was so welcoming and patient. I love great customer service and she certainly doesn't disappoint. I cant forget about Patrick either. I was so in the mood for a funnel cake. There were several toppings to choose from. I chose the strawberry topping with whipped creme. The funnel cake was cooked to perfection and freshly made. I hope I see FunOhCakes out and about again. I will be running, not walking :-)

Check them out on Instagram, they update and add seasonal funnel cake flavors quite frequently and everything I've tried has been delicious. Don't miss their fried Oreos! The gentleman behind the counter is extremely nice, happy and genuinely thankful to all his customers. They're currently parked at the green & yellow Title & Loan place on Carowinds blvd on weekends. Totally worth a visit!

First, let me start off this review by saying, my children and I haven't had funnel cake in about four years. We had very high expectations standing in line. This line was wrapped ya'll! You would have thought it was five people working in that truck with how fast the line was moving. By the time I ordered they were out of strawberry. I ordered two classics, one peaches and cream, and an order of fried Oreos, which I dubbed the "Paula Deen Special." I thought strawberry was my favorite but I'm now a peaches and cream lady! This funnel cake is EVERYTHING! All my kids were quietly humming as they ate. This funnel cake is very different from fair food but gives a nod to it. It's not overly fried or greasy. It felt like breakfast. I had to drive 25 minutes before I could eat mine. Of course by then it was cold, but two minutes of preheating in my air fryer at 340 degrees and we were back in business. I tasted one of my son's fried Oreos. He's vegan and loves Oreos. It's hard to describe how good these are. My one bite was reminiscent to a lava cake. The frying of the Oreos makes the cookie almost fudge-like. The people who served us were uber friendly. I wish them well, and hope to see them again at other food truck events. I'll definitely stop by again.

Best Funnel Cakes in the Carolinas!!! Amazing service too. Check their website/Facebook page as they're not always there, but Friday afternoons make sure to stop by for some sugarey goodness (The cookies & cream is a diet killer!)
