Fuji Japanese Restaurant

Fuji is by far the BEST Japanese restaurant in Catawba county. I am NOT over exaggerating you guys. Don't let the location or the size of the restaurant fool you. It is the most flavorful teriyaki/Hibachi I have eaten! I travel A LOT, I've lived in a lot of different places/states, and I've also searched high and low to find another Japanese restaurant to compare to Fuji... But there isn't one. If you haven't eaten here, first of all, there is a drive thru and there is inside seating. Service is fairly fast either way. You do not have to call ahead to place an order, but I'm sure the restaurant probably prefers it. I always order at the window, and it takes just a few minutes to get my usual... Either Hibachi chicken (which comes with mushrooms) or teriyaki chicken (which comes with broccoli) depending on my mood. It's pretty inexpensive, I believe less than $7 per plate, and you easily have leftovers because it comes with a lot! I've tried other items on the menu as well, like soups and egg rolls, and they've always been pretty good too! Keep in mind before you visit, they are not open on Sunday! (Yet I always crave Fuji's on Sunday for some reason!)

Do not go here if you are looking for fine dining. But it if you want good Japanese food at a good price, this is the place. The food is always fresh and made to order. I have never had a bad experience. Just know this isn't a fine dining place and you'll be fine.

Love this place! Go to lunch spot usually once a week! I love the teriyaki steak, chicken and fish from here! Love the service too.

Pretty good teriyaki chicken and broccoli and excellent shrimp sauce. Only complaint is that they only put corn in the fried rice & I prefer it with peas & carrots added like most places do

Absolutely love this restaurant! Not only is the food always phenomenal! The owners always greet you with a smile in the drive through and great service when you dine in! This restaurant has been recently renovated and new owners of the business passing down all the same delicious recipes! They have even added a few new menu options as well! So grateful to have Fuji's back open and cannot wait to eat there again soon!

New to the area. FB recommendations led me here. When I ordered, they asked me when I would arrive. I thought that was awesome! The food was ready when I arrived. Beef and chicken were cooked correctly. I received what I was expecting.

We moved to the area a few months ago and always wanted to try this place since every time we drove by there was a line in the drive thru for pick up orders. We were not disappointed! Food was fresh and delicious and the price was great. We were given plenty of shrimp sauce for our meals and duck sauce for our egg rolls which was really nice. Lo mein noodles were without a doubt the best i've ever had, the flavor and texture of the noodles was amazing. We are very pleased and will be making this one of our regular go to's for take out!

Love this place. Used to live near by and visited ALL the time. Great food at a low great price. Love the bean old lady who serves us. She gets the job done but don't ask her for much!!

This has got to be the best Japanese Restaurant around. The service was quick, they asked me how I wanted my steak cooked for my combination entrée. Which I personally haven't ever been asked at other Japanese restaurants. Friendly service. My chicken and steak were cooked perfectly, the vegetables were great and not mushy. The rice was superb and then the shrimp sauce to tie it all in. Large portions, fast service, great food, and clean. Couldn't be more pleased with my decision to eat here today.
