Mediocre food, great service.We decided to come here for a quick bite with the kids. I ordered a taco salad which was supposed to come with pico de gallo but didn't, so all I got was ground beef on lettuce in a taco bowl. The kids had a burger and chicken fingers. All of the fried stuff reeked of old and overused oil. In fact the whole restaurant smelled of old oil and by the end of our meal the whole place was making me nauseous because I just couldn't take the smell any more. The fries, the chicken and my taco bowl, all had that disgusting oil smell.The burgers were decent, but nothing too special to write home about. I do give them two stars in spite of the bad food because the service was exceptional and the two girls working up front were attentive and so sweet. However unfortunately we will not be back for the food.

was over by the big mall in Concord having no success spending money on games, tools, or cast iron and needed something else to do. I inquired about food and Yelp pointed me here. I got a cheerful welcome when I came in but the menu board is a confused array of burgers and sandwiches and stuff that goes with burgers and sandwiches and stuff...like salads, chef salads; a nice pile of crisp cut lettuce plus diced ham, tomato, onion, cucumber and shredded cheese that fills a 10-inch dinner plate almost two inches deep. come's with some crackers on the side plus a packet of Ken's dressing so you can wreck your own salad. my foot long hot dog came out a couple bites into the salad, pretty sure it wasn't quite a whole foot long either; tucked down into a toasted bun with slaw, onions and a chili that was more like a Maid-Rite made wrong. don't misunderstand here, I'm totally a fan of drier chili meats as they reduce the likelihood of ruined shirts and I need all the help I can get on this :-)dining room was a little chilly ahead of the arctic blast / polar vortex coming to town shortly. and between the comings and goings at front door and the drive-up window a constant breeze encouraged me to finish my review at home...

Still a very good stop with lots of options, and fresh, prepared to order food. On this trip I got the Buffalo Chicken Philly with a side of coleslaw. The sandwich was piping hot, with a good Buffalo kick (but not too spicy), and fresh veggies and melty cheese. The coleslaw was pretty standard, but good. My wife got the Tuna in wheat. Tasty tuna salad and again, fresh tasting. She got the potato salad for her side and it is a nice-sized serving, and was very creamy and good. Food came out real fast and the staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended!

I've been coming here for years & I must say they never miss a beat. The food is great & the service is impeccable!

Philly cheese steak is great! I love the fries. The Witchdoctor definitely needs pickles in it. It's very disappointing not to have them in the bottom of the cup! Please add them as this will be the correct way to make them. Thank you!

Ok spot for a quick meal. The menu is huge! I got the Tex- mex burger with fries. Make sure you ask for the pico de Gallo on the side because it's very watery and will make the bun soggy. The burger was very small and underwhelming. It was dry and over cooked. The bun was untoasted and bland. There wasn't much of the other toppings. I couldn't really taste the pepper jack cheese or the chipotle sauce. Apparently the blackened chicken and chicken tenders are good so I will get one of those if I go back.

My client took me here for lunch after I told him I wanted a good burger. They have an end cap at a strip center and a small restaurant which is casual and crowded at lunchtime. I believe this is a small chain in the north Charlotte area. Their burgers are fresh and handpattied, according to the menu. I ordered the big daddy cheeseburger at the request of my client, he also ordered the same. The cheese burger comes with american, lettuce tomato and mayo, but you can add other toppings. It also comes with a aide for about 10.99. I took the burger as is, and requested shredded cheddar instead of American. The burger came out quickly, even though it was 3 freshly cooked patties, 1/3lb each. The patties are cooked well done, and they don't ask how you want them cooked. They don't seem to season them very much, if any, and I'm not a big fan of adding salt and pepper at the table. The cook should season the food.I chose their homemade chili for my side. The chili was a little different than I am used to eating. I'll just say it had a strong taste of tomato. Certainly not beefy like I am used to eating.

Shrimp and grits is Amazing. I've had it twice. My husband loves the black and blue ribeye. He also liked the fish tacos. I had the burger the third time, it was a little dry to me. Be careful following the reviews below as this place hasn't been open as long as these reviews have been posted, not the same restaurant

Food was really good. Service was even better. Was passing by and decided to have a quick lunch and I will be back in the near future!
