Fresh Off The Grill

We heard about this place from a woman at Harris Teeter and knew it was a no frills joint beforehand. But she raved about the food and pricing so we decided to check it out for lunch one day.I'm all for a dive spot so none of that bothers me in the slightest. My only issue was that the food wasn't seasoned AT ALL. I ordered the fried fish sandwich and fries, super simple. Not a lick of salt, pepper, onion powder, nothing. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I ate about half and was all set. My boyfriend ordered the bacon burger and loved it. I took a bite and it was delicious. I don't know what happened with my meal but hey. The place was packed though. I don't think I'd eat here again. Besides the bland food the inside was pretty in need of some upgrades. The ceiling above our table was falling apart and dark brown, not very appetizing. The staff was there but with no smiles or happy tidings. Just an odd experience for us. We ate quickly and left.

We were in the area and came across this small local restaurant. It is located in a strip mall, all the way on the end. Upon walking in, we were greeted immediately. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. The food came out fairly quickly. As far as taste, it was good. I didn't realize until after the different sides I could have gotten besides fries, otherwise I would have tried their potato salad. The burger was good, tasted fresh and not like a frozen patty. As far as sweet tea, I'm picky and a southerner, so would not get that again. The tea tasted old, like it had been sitting around all day or the urn it was in was not cleaned properly.Will come back next time we're in the area and try more of their menu.

My husband and I were driving and I wanted something that reminded me of home. We saw this spot and glad we stopped by. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and I love crinkled fries...It was great! They were quick and they made sure to ask if we needed anything else! Definitely recommend!

Really good burgers, fries and I love their vegetable soup. Love all their wait staff.

Great lunch today at off the grill. Philly cheesesteak is amazing, very good cheeseburgers as well! Our first time here and won't be the last!

Really good, traditional and American style food! Fresh tasting food with amazing flavor! I love the location, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the customer service was both friendly and fast. Really yummy food, lots of good things to choose from on the menu!

I had a craving for a hot sub and my wife had a craving for a good hot dog. We saw this place a had good reviews and was close by so we gave it s try. It hit the mark on all cylinders. I got their Buffalo chicken Philly which was just right. She loved her hot dog and we shared a large order of fries. Definitely plan to go back when the craving hits again.

I came to off the grill and ordered some cheese fries. The two teen employees working the front of the restaurant were very attentive and polite. One of them was the working manager and was very professional for his age.
