Food was very good. We had quiche Lorraine, onion soup and Normandy sandwich. We did not realize reservations were expected regardless service was excellent and so was the food. They seem to specialize in Teas and High Tea service. Ambiance is a bit cramped and eclectic but overall a nice experience.

Quaint spot for afternoon tea or lunch. Friendly quick service, delicious food. Ordered the French plate, expected the pate to be more of a spread than a sausage consistency but still tasty. Onion soup was amazing! Would recommend

Came here to celebrate friend's birthday. Servers were very friendly and nicely introduced the menu. Later our food was also expedited since I was rushing the time.It was a cute small place. The tables were pretty crowded - the decorations and the furniture were nicely picked and great for photos. The food was okay, not as impressive as I expected. It's more American than French style (we ordered high tea - maybe we should go with low tea?). The scone and soup were good.

One of my favorite dining spots in the Charlotte Metro.Small intimate Cafe in the Shops on the Green in Cornelius. Needless from the name, you can tell it's French Cuisine. Did not count the number of seats but I would estimate it probably holds around 40. The don't take reservations but do suggest you call ahead for seating. Most of the seating is indoors but they do have a couple of tables out front in case someone wants to dine outside in nice weather. We've been three of four times and always get the same things and each time, we tell ourselves that next time we are going to try something different from the menuMy wife loves their Quiche de Jour paired a bowl of their French Onion Soup. Great combination and the Onion Soup is very rich and hearty and on a cold day, is a great way to get warm.I love Blintz's so I gravitate to the Blintz zu Formage which are excellent. Nice and delicate and full of flavor and it comes paired with a Lingonberry Compote with whipped cream. Paired with a cup of their Cafe de Maison (House Coffee) which is nice and bold and full of robust flavor, you can see why I still keep coming back to this item.Maybe next time, I'll get around to trying one of their Omelets or one of the Salads. Not o only is this a Restaurant, it is sells hard to find Provisions for you to take home to stock you Pantry for later.Staff is great and very friendly and will do anything they can to make your visit a memorable one.

Cute home like tea shop. Like many of the reviews, the food seemed like it came from Costco or Sam's but it was still good. It was pretty expensive for the quality of food. The tea was delicious!

Overly priced Costco food more than likely warmed in a confection oven. The bread for tea sandwiches was dry. The owner /manager camped out in one of the booths and conducted business the entire time. Good tea selection. Decor was quaint but a bit crowded. Service was good, and that's why I gave 3 stars. However, they automatically add a 20% gratuity -I'm only accustomed to this for large parties not for 2 people. Let me be the judge of what you deserve for a tip.

The tea and service were both very good. The food was just okay. The reason for the 2-star rating is because the owner sat in one of the booths in the main dining area and conducted business over speaker phone the entire time, which ruined the atmosphere. And it's particularly bad to broadcast phone calls for which customers are providing credit card info. My advice to the owner is to conduct business in a back office room and use an earpiece instead of speaker phone.

Have been here before and this time the experience hit differently. The owner seems to not really want business as they are only open for reservations yet not busy at all when you're there. The scone and tea selection were very good but everything else fell flat. Looking at other reviews, it did remind me of Costco frozen foods. I hope this place can get its act together because I love having it close but if not, next time I'll head to Ballantyne.

We went as a family for the traditional tea and we were very disappointed. The tea selection was big and our tea and scones were tasty but the portions were measly considering that each meal was about $40 (including the included 20% tip). The "savory" selection was a frozen, reheated mini quiche and a sausage ball. I only got to try the sausage ball because there weren't enough mini quiches to go around. I think I could have made the sandwiches better at home, but who knows since I only got try a small dry turkey sandwich since the others in my party ate the others. There simply wasn't enough to go around. The dessert were cookies that you find in a tin at the grocery store.
