Thought we would try another place for breakfast than our go to breakfast place in Conover which is Dick's Cafe and now wish we hadn'tWalked in around 9:30 and it was packed and was told it would be a wait because they were down one server.Once we were seated, service was just ok due to the fact they were busy and short staffed.The food though was not good. My wife said her scrambled eggs were over cooked and her wheat toast was burnt. The grits also had a burnt taste to them. We both left about half our meals and didn't finish them. We both like strong, black coffee and the coffee here was very weak and tasted more like coffee flavored water, so didn't as for any refills on our "coffee".Overall not worth it and a waste of money, so this was two visits in one, first and last!

When you ask for a cheeseburger all the way, this is where you go! Super fast service and it came with a smile. Large dining area with many options on the menu.

The biggest pancakes on earth is here! Wow I was shock how big these pancakes were. I had enough to take home for breakfast the next day. I had basic scrambled eggs and french toast along with my gigantic pancake. My family and I even tried "Liver mush" that was very different and it was actually not bad, I'm just not a fan of the texture ‍ but taste was it was good. We shared just one slice just in case we didn't like and the overall conclusion its not something we would purchase again. Overall great experience, service was fast and quick and of course friendly

I ate lunch here for the first time recently with a friend & we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. You seat yourself & staff will come to your table to take your order. Staff were very friendly & attentive & everything was made to order quickly. There are daily specials & the portions are great for the price. I would like to come back soon to try their breakfast. I am giving four of five stars because the building seems to be a bit run down, it is located at the end of a strip mall.

Only thing negative you never know when and if they areOpen on Saturday's it a hit or miss. Some of us can only eat here on Saturday due to work kinda sucks when you drive up there and they are closed.

Really enjoyed the meal. Space is large and was very busy but service was quick and food was tasty.

First time....walked into a full house. You might expect the locals know a good thing when they eat it. And...you'd be right! This place is a jewel. It is in a strip shopping mall, not elegant or extravagantly decorated. But, oh my! From the coffee, cold brewed tea to the fruit, everything was excellent. A test we use is the eggs we ordered scrambled soft, actually soft. They were! The tenderloin was awesome. The grits are exceptional in flavor and not at all lumpy, even late in the morning. We have only had breakfast, they are open for lunch but close at 2pm. We look forward to a lunch here and are determined to return. In spite the hungry mob of our new neighbors, the staff was calm and efficient. They dealt with all of our requests with friendly service. We cannot say enough that if we need a home cooked meal, their kitchen will do as well as ours.

I like the environment this place brings to it . This is the place older generation and younger generation finally mesh. The food is decent the bbq plate was a little bland but the customer service was definitely great. I will be bad to get a different plate

Wonderful hometown dinner. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Friendly people and large portions. A great breakfast spot worth stopping at.
