The play house is quite small for theater type setting but what a gem of a cultural asset for the area. Although the playhouse is looking for a new larger location, my first time experience here was most enjoyable. We saw an archapelo group called IMPROMPTU who were excellent. 2 people wheeled in a small cart with popcorn and soda which I thought quite homey and mom and pop like. One gentleman held a 50 50 raffle, 1 $ a ticket for funds for the theater Parking was convenient as well as restaurants in the area. This show was $12 a ticket, a short intermission, about 11/2 hours for the entire show.Seating and lighting were adequate,. The performance made up for the plain ambience. The staff were very pleasant.I look forward to attend another show.

Very nice community playhouse, just as the title suggests, offering variety of plays along with an annual dinner theater, sometimes more.Small and intimate with seating on risers, so everyone can see the actors on stage. You are right there in the action. Actor's voices die out of their mouths due to the setting. Many of the actors spoke too softly to be heard or understood. They really need to SPEAK UP and PROJECT. Please!?!?Cute concession stand selling sodas, water, popcorn and homemade cookies. Price? One dollar each. Such a deal.Parking appears to be adequate. We arrived after dark and easily found a place. Looks like it is or was part of a school complex. Located in a hard-to-find area, so do a reconnaissance during daylight or use your GPS to find it the first time.A nice experience. Membership packages on ticket prices, senior discounts and youth tickets. Five plays are on the 2013 schedule. Been around since 1980, 30 seasons. Fun.

Visited here to catch an improv show a few weeks ago and it was ok. Its a smaller sized theater, which is expected in the town of Fort Mill. The staff were really nice upon entering and even brought out more seats since more people than expected showed up. They offered wine and a few concessions, but options were limited. All in all, a cool, no frills place to catch a show

Haha ... belly laughter and good comedy at a very affordable cost. Improv shows are so much fun. The theater isn't big and I'd say it's rather cozy but the sound is good. During Improv show there's wine available for purchase. It's been a little while since I visited so there may be more selections. I just want to encourage supporting this community theater.
