Absolutely the best, most authentic tacos I've had in NC. You'll find this in little old Lexington. Small, VERY hole in the wall-esque, but id absolutely make the drive for their food. Plenty of options to choose from, including lengua, which you know it's legit then. All authentic items, none of that tex-Mex stuff. The freshest corn tortillas on flavorful grilled meats. Each sauce was full of flavor and good spice. Try their pozole as well (verde version) - comes with all the necessary toppings and full of hominy and chicken. The service...you order at the counter and just find your seat. You're then presented the best tacos from the kindest people. Top 10 recommendations in the state for me, highly recommend.

Lupitas is my go-to Mexican restaurant. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious. So fresh and full of flavor. The beef burrito is excellent as well. It could feed two people easily. Stuffed with beans, rice, ground beef and cheese. Everything is always excellent at Lupitas

Good portions for a decent price. The tacos were to die for. You can tell the tortillas are homemade. The rice wasn't my favorite, but that seemed to be my preference, as my other family liked it. They bring out four different kinds of hot sauces/salsas to use as you please. The service was quick and easy. You go to the counter to order and can sit inside the restaurant. It is a little hole in the wall, but they seemed to stay busy.

An absolute hidden gem! I first ate here years ago and I was blown away at how delicious the food was. I have tried several of their tacos and pazole and everything has been so incredibly good. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in Lexington NC you have to try Lupitas. Everything on the menu is very authentic and so flavorful.

Everything was fresh and homemade salsa and tortillas. Weekly specials and weekend soup specials were nice too. This is a nice little find & in Lexington NC of all places.

We got a variety order of the tacos and cup of the rice drink . The Mexican sausage was really greasy but good . The chicken was good the steak taco wasn't very good it was very gamey more of roast beef than steak . The cheek taco I was worried about but surprisingly was my favorite of all of them . The drink was very sweet and good flavor . We'll definitely go again 8 tacos and two drink was $30 which was pretty reasonable

Omg these tacos are A1!! For those that don't know what that means in slang terms fire, amazing, really really good. It's not every day that you'll find great Mexican food. My wife and I came to Lexington to visit family and we decided to try this spot since the reviews were great. Service was great and food was made quickly. I have Nothing bad to say about this place.

great tacos my favorite Mexican place in lexington so far . I like both the green and red salsas. Price is comparable to all other Mexican places around. Usually call order and pick up so I can't speak to the service or ambiance.
