If you want authentic food for a fraction of the price of mainstream restaurants... this is your place. They have a ton of lunch specials for $9.99 including the Burrito en salsa verde pictured below. They have extremely generous portions, but even I didn't expect it to come out this large. It it a very meaty burrito, stuffed to the brim with tender pulled pork, refried beans, rice and cheese, smothered in a pool of salsa verde. One of my favorite orders to date! Their salsa is one of my favorites - so fresh with great flavor and a tiny kick to it. The restaurant is located conveniently off of Albemarle rd and is spacious on the inside with the usual Latin vibes - music and decor.

This is my new restaurant of choice when I want some authentic Mexican food with the exception of another restaurant that I will not name on this review however the service are always friendly the food is delicious and fulfilling and you get that authentic Mexican food and feel when you walk through the door I highly recommend it is right up the street from my home and it is a place that my husband and I love to go.

One of my favorite taco places in Charlotte. I used to go here religiously on Tuesdays. They have tacos for only a dollar all day.I usually get 3 asada tacos and 2 pastor tacos topped with the green sauce. The green sauce is fantastic. I usually ask for more because I like my tacos spicy.They have alcoholic drinks for a decent price on the back of their menu. The place is very authentic because the workers speak Spanish and the restaurant has traditional music playing!It will surely make you feel like you're in the right place for tacos with your friends! The workers are nice and friendly! Service isn't bad but you might have to get their attention when it's busy. Craving tacos? Then you should definitely try this place.

I found this place by accident when I was looking for a now-gone Ethiopian restaurant that used to be at this address. This restaurant is VERY authentic - the best salsas, efficient low-touch service (I prefer when servers only visit your table when necessary), good prices, and delicious food. I used to live in San Francisco and have missed the Mexican food there since living in Charlotte. After over a year, I finally found high-quality food that I love. I will return many times!
