my new favorite location! Great menu as always paired with amazing service and lots of great outside seating. Located in a cool center called the bowl so lots to see and roam and plenty of parking. REALLY well versed in allergies too!

Very very popular place for lunch on a rainy Tuesday.We looked for a parking spot for almost 20 minutes.Ben had been to the South End location before & my first time.Very nice selection on the menu with several options that included chicken, salmon or shrimp.I had the chicken enchilada which was really good.They have a nice outside patio.Hopefully they build a parking deck because the complex is still under construction & parking is a pain

Wow, what a great place. Newly opened Flower Child in Ballantyne in The Bowl is a gem! We walked in and around the Bowl and by the Ballantyne Hotel and saw all the new restaurants. We had to check out Flower Child. This place has an amazing menu and you know all the food is clean eating. The food is fresh, tasty and portions are big. There is so many great choices on the menu, and you can choose your dish and then the protein. Lots of flavor combos here. This was our first visit, so we tried chicken yakisoba noodles, chicken plate with roasted broccoli and brown rice, black bean falafel, and shrimp plate with Mac and cheese and roasted broccoli. All delicious and fresh. Food comes out pretty quickly with a friendly staff. They have a self serve tea and lemonade counter so you can mix and match flavors, or try different drink flavors, so that is a plus. They have a lot of seating in and out, and a cute vibe. Definitely be back here soon!

We checked out this 2nd location of Flower Child at this new strip, "The Bowl'" in Ballantyne, Charlotte...quite bustling already!We got there super early for dinner (5:30 pmish?), and there was already a line...busy-busy!! We chose to sit outside on their patio...which turned out to be quite nice.I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, and my husband got the Chicken Enchilada...and we also shared 2 sides, Broccoli and Mac 'n Cheese. Well, everything was every bit as good as I had anticipated. Truly SO fresh!! All the veggies looked sparkling new, ripe, and freshly cut! I even loved this drink, Watermelon flavored Sangria (?). There were actually quite a few tempting items on the menu...and I found it hard to choose!I would have preferred ordering at the table, but this is a casual eatery where you stand in line, and order at the counter. However, I came knowing that. The thing I found extremely annoying was their food delivery system. We had to walk back to the counter twice to ask about our items! (?!?) They didn't deliver the drinks in a timely manner...and totally forgot the sides! Normally, I would dock a star or two for something like that. But given how new this place is, and how things probably haven't ironed out just yet, I'm going to let it go. The foods were so good...again, SO impeccably fresh, I have to drop 5 stars!We both were impressed with this place, and vowed to return!

Flower Child brings a very nice fun, healthy, fresh dining option to the Ballantyne Bowl!Served in a fast casual environment, you can find a variety of health conscious menu options to enjoy. My sister ordered a turkey avocado salad, but they brought her a wrap instead. Not a huge deal, but she asked for her salad and the staff politely corrected her order. I enjoyed the chicken yakisoba noodles and I would definitely order those again. My favorite was actually the gluten free mac & cheese! I was so surprised by how creamy and delicious it was. I would like to go back and try some more items.

Today, I was meeting a friend fur lunch, so we decided on Flower Child. With her being vegetarian, and I wanted something healthier this was a great option. I decided to go with the chicken entree paired with the broccoli and sweet potato fries! The broccoli here is top notch! Between the lemon zest and Parmesan it makes for a perfect pairing. They serve a dill sauce with the fries that is loaded with flavor! The sauce is even good on the chicken! My friend enjoyed the falafel wrap! Definitely check this place out if you're wanting a healthier option with flavor!

I love the delicious flavors of Flower Child food. They have an amazing variety of vegetables and healthy foods. I tried the glow bowl with grilled salmon. It had a little spice and good flavors like asian food but vegetables as noodles. I tried the passion tea and the vegan chocolate pudding was incredible and chocolate heaven!! Good service even with the crowd and they gave us table numbers to handle the lunch rush. You order online and get a table number. Parking is busy in the bowl at Ballantyne.

Again, I hate to be a buzzkill, but my first experience her was just... well... meh (but I will try again). It has a beautiful airy dining area, a great patio and menu with delicious, healthy options. Of course, service was very friendly and attentive, as you'd expect from a new restaurant that has only been open for two weeks. Both my wife and I went with the chicken and two sides. My sweet potato fries arrived first. However, they were burnt. They happily replaced them. The substitute was just okay. The other sides cauliflower risotto, asparagus salad and broccoli were all outstanding. The biggest problem was the chicken, which was lukewarm (at best) and very dry. Last but not least, the gluten-free cashew chocolate chip cookies were da bomb. I'd return just for those.I'm excited about this new Ballantyne option and hope to return, but they still have a way to go. Based on my experience, I think 3 stars is a stretch, but we hope to return. Give it a try!

This place is one of my favorites in Charlotte. The atmosphere is eclectic and has a cool vibe. The food is off the hook good plenty of amazing options, including excellent vegetarian and vegan options. It's order at the counter so the service is always spot on and the crew that runs the food to the table is very attentive. The only thing missing when I ate there earlier this was heat. It was frigid in there so cold that I had a hard time enjoying my lunch. I inquired as to why it was so cold and the response was "I know it's really strange how cold it is in here. " Everyone in the restaurant was bundled up because it was a pretty cold day in Charlotte not sure what's going on, but I'm not going back until the heat's fixed. The lack of heat is the reason they lost a star.

Food was fresh and made quickly! Service was great and vibe inside was awesome. Great place to grab a bite to go or eat in.
