Flat Rock Cinema

This is a wonderful cinema. If you haven't ever been...put it on your list of must dos!! I highly recommend it!!

This intimate venue was a terrific spot to catch Tyler Ramsey's show, promoting his latest album New Lost Ages. It was so much fun and better than the average movie theater.

I Went there with many friends to watch a new movie release. They were very accommodating , we had quite a crowd wanting food /drinks ! They were great getting us taken care of and very friendly. The seating has reg loungeSeats along with small table and chairs so you can watch movie and hang with friend eating your favorite food or beverage they offer . This is a quaint neighborhood theater , set in the historic town of Flat Rock, NC. Definitely, a place you should check out and watch your favorite new movies at! Highly recommend!

We have been to Flat Rock Cinema about 5 times this summer. The cozy atmosphere is great popcorn is always fresh and the staff is always welcoming.

Ok, we're Mamma Mia groupies. My band of crazies LOVE the music of Abba. We were so excited to see this prequel, Mamma Mia Here We Go Again and this new production did not disappoint. The same characters, played by the same actors with some twists and turns that are just fun and unexpected.There were some new ABBA pieces in this one...not new music, just pieces not in the first version so that added a little nuance of interest. Cher was slightly stiff and almost plastic but given her longevity (she's slightly older than I) perhaps she has some twinges in her hinges, but she was a fun addition to the story line.Meryl Streep had a very special spot but it was tender and bitter sweet. Just like most of ABBA numbers, this was a fun, feel good romp and we loved it.The cinema has a simple food bar and we had hot dogs or barbecue, wine, beer and of course, pop corn. We ordered the popcorn before we took our meal into the theater. Then just before the movie started we went back to the lobby and picked up our reserved popcorn. The staff is always friendly and fun and each trip to the Flat Rock Cinema is a guaranteed quality time!

This theater is a local treasure! We live in Flat Rock and are so grateful that this resource is so easily available. We went to see "Reagan" today, a week after the horrific hurricane, and it lifted our spirits so much! If you haven't been to FRC, you need to check it out.

Great little venue for movie and live performances. They have food and drinks. Tables and regular seats. Prices are good.

Wasn't a very friendly experience. Not sure but I think something ran past my foot!!!!
