I first tried this chain a few years ago while vacationing in Sarasota, and I remember liking the foods. Anyway, I was psyched to see that this chain made its way down to Rock Hill! The place looked clean...and the decor was minimal chic, but somewhat masculine? Thought it would have been nicer if they added some warmer, brighter colors, and made the place a tad cozier? Overhead music was fitting, and well placed...good volume, that is.We were able to slide right into our booth by 8 am, and the service was quick and attentive. One thing I didn't like was how their menu was a bit hard to read...with this newspaper-like font and format. The food items just didn't stand out at all...and it took awhile to pick out items we wanted to try. The actual variety of items were great...as they even had a good variety of lunch items, as well as breakfast entrees and sides. This time I ordered their Floridian French Toast, which came with lotsa fresh fruits...and this was really good!! The toast was quite large, nice and fluffy. My husband tried the Chickichanga, and he seemed to like that too. We also shared an order of Bacon...and these were good as well. Though the price points were a bit high for breakfast, the quality of the foods were good. Overall, I liked this chain...even in Rock Hill. I definitely plan on revisiting to try more items on their menu.

On a travel day for us and while checking out what was around us for dinner saw that First Watch was just a half mile from us...fantastic way to start the new day off! We got there are were expecting a long wait as they are always busy...to our surprise we were just one of like five tables...found they are brand new to the area and are a best kept secret! Service, Food and location were excellent! Hurry before they are discovered!

Got in around noon on a Saturday it wasn't too busy. A hostess held open the door for us and we got seated immediately at a table for 2. Michaela, our server, was nice and brought our food out in a timely manner. The interior is nice and clean and so were the bathrooms. There's about 4 I think and they're all gender neutral single rooms. Our food was good about usual for a breakfast place although our potatoes could've been cooked a little longer and it had a smokey aroma but it wasn't a problem. We ate all our food without any food to go. Coffee was $3.99. $7.49 for a singular carrot cake pancake and $13 for the farmhouse hash. A bit pricey for one pancake but it was tasty. Nice little addition for Cherry Rd. I can see it doing very well here.

Our server was nice. Service was a bit slow but no big deal. Food was very mediocre. Something to note on their seasonal coffee drinks: Do NOT get the mint mocha. It tasted like straight mint syrup. The caramel one was fine just a bit too sweet (would have been so good with less honey).

I had the classic egg Benedict and it was awful. The eggs were hard. The bread was old and the hollandaise sauce was cold. I told the server about the Benedict which he clearly saw , because I didn't eat it . His response was only that he will let the kitchen know! No attempt to offer me another one or if I wanted something else instead.

Place still in start up and iron out Mode.Took too long for waitress to greet and bring coffee, even though you could see wait staff chatting it up and on cell phones in bull pen. Food was warm at best when served. link sausages were not cooked thru to center. Belgium waffle was good. eggs were over well but cooked on such high heat the whites were 'burnt' And 'seared'. Don't mind high priced breakfast but only when service is prompt and food is better quality than Waffle house. Had better experience in the Oviedo, Fl franchise. Not worth $20/person. But still left a tip over 20% cause I think it is a management short coming.
