First Watch

I'm not sure why the reviews for this location are so low, every time I come my food is hot and fresh and so yummy! We came for breakfast and were greeted and seated right away upon arriving. The restaurant is always clean and the servers are so nice! I received plenty of compliments on my hair from the staff and they were all serving smiles. Our server was all smiles and so accommodating! I ordered the Carne asada hash for my meal, a waffle for my son and I to share and he ordered the bacon and egg kids meal which came with fresh fruit. Everything was absolutely delicious! The hash was so fresh and flavorful, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The hash came with two warm tortillas which was prefect for making little tacos! I also ordered the lavender cocktail which packed a punch and was yummy. And the blue booster juice, which was absolutely phenomenal! My son enjoyed his food, the waffle was good as well. Abs the fruit that came with my sons meal was so fresh and ripe! Service 10/10Ambiance 8/10Food 10/10Drinks 10/10We enjoyed every bite and sip! I hope they make the hash a permanent menu item!

We arrived and ordered our usuals. The waiter unfortunately did not inform us that they had ran out of chicken sausage (which I ordered and even ordered an extra side of for my toddler).When the food was brought to the table I immediately noticed the wrong sausage. The staff said "they told you we were out of chicken sausage right? That turkey". So not only did they not inform me but just decided to replace it, but also without ever giving me an option. The potatoes were undercooked, meaning harder that they should've been.I cut my pancake and that's where the meal completely fell apart. The blackest pancake over ever seen in my life! MAKE SURE YOUR FLIP YOUR PANCAKE OVER! It took too long for our server to check on us so at that point I didn't want my pancake remade.

Super busy on a Sunday morning. The Bloody Mary was served in cute little container but hardly filled up a small cocktail glass. They should provide a better serving size. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. When they brought out my plate; the scrambled eggs were not really scrambled. They were pan fried and it was mixed with uncooked parts of egg whites. When I asked if they could give me another scrambled egg, they asked what's wrong and I said, just show them my plate with the uncooked whites. Skip the millionaire bacon potatoes.

There is a First Watch near the Concord Mills Mall area that opens at 7 am every morning. Getting quickly seated was very easy, and having a fast cup of decent coffee was even easier. I decided to go away from the Eggs Benedict and see if the Carne Asada Hash, a new dish being offered, would be tasty. The mixture used breakfast potatoes already served with several egg dishes there. It really wasn't a hash and I had to cut down the squares of the potatoes to get a better flavor of the steak and peppers inside. Overall, a decent breakfast place but I would probably go back to the Eggs Benedict if I visit again.

My and I decided to try this restaurant seeing as it about 5 minutes from the house. I must say this is a sold breakfast choice. The price is reasonable and the service was excellent. The team is extremely helpful and accommodating. Mom order The Works Omelet, while I chose the Tri-Fecta. I also opted for the Million Dollar Bacon. I would definitely recommend this location and restaurant.

Service & chef accuracy is not good. They were busy Sunday, we sat outside. On a hot day we should be considered more and quicker. I ordered avocado toast with egg (asked for it to be well done, fried, dark). The order came with runny eggs literally...twice.It always took her 20mins to come back to our table for anything - felt we were there forever just watching more ppl come in need of seats. The pancakes ordered by someone in our party came out wrong.The only positives were I liked the multiple creamer options they offer when you order coffee kettle. And, the server removed the eggs from my tab for the multiple errors.I'm truly not a fan of this establishment.

I have never honestly had a bad experience with Firstwatch as, they always serve delicious, hot, spot on food. Not sure if today was situation since, they weren't slam packed and it seemed like a pretty casual day. I ordered online and instead of door dashing it, decided to make the drive. I walked in and upon my entrance was greeted promptly. After inquiring for my pick up order I was told they were waiting for one of the dishes to be completed to finish my order. I waited approx an extra 5-6 minutes for it to be brought out and the waitress (didn't catch her name but have seen her there on previous visits described my order. Trusting (I should have checked) everything was correct because they had the extra time, I left. My drive was approx 18-20 minutes so heat wise, it held up nicely. However two things stick out about one of my items and they were deal breakers which, had my family dined in would have had the dish sent back and recooked. I specifically asked for NO RADISHES in my Carne Asada Hash as I'm allergic to them. I also specified scrambled eggs which were not present in my order. For the number of times I've enjoyed their food, today however the ball was dropped. It won't discourage me from returning and so get to be more diligent in checking behind the adults who are being paid to make sure my order is correct.

First watch is great overall but this was a disappointing experience. They were out of several things and it took a while for our food to come out. When we ordered we chose an appetizer but have to prompt the waitress to bring it before our food but it still didn't come before our food. The food itself was great at the lemon blueberry cornbread which was delicious. Also enjoyed the carnitas quesadilla which is on the new summer menu.

We came for breakfast on a weekday, it took a bit for us to be seated considering the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered coffee, shrimp and grits, and a Chickichanga. We started with the coffee and it wasn't the best. The shrimp and grits were pretty good and had a nice flavor. However, the sauce on the Chickichanga was not my favorite and didn't quite hit the mark for me. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant dining atmosphere. I might give another try.
