Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

I went to Firebirds for the weekend brunch. I got the grilled steak Benedict. The steak was tender and seasoned well. The egg was scrambled instead of poached. (The way I like it.), sautéed spinach and lobster fondue was delicious. Also, comes with a side of seasoned potatoes and vegetables. The meal came with bread and butter as an appetizer which was good too.Firebirds has a laid back setting but could also dress up a bit.I would definitely recommend the brunch. It was worth the wait!

I was quite impressed with the wide variety of drink selections. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the many colorful liquor bottles that adorn the wall. Stacked very beautifully in an array. The steak was amazing. I recommend the aged ribeye. You will not be left in dismay. They have plenty other selections like surf and turf. See menu attached.

I went to Firebird's Wood Fired Grill on Saturday, September 28th. It was my first time eating at this restaurant. After arriving, we were seated immediately. It wasn't extremely busy at the time. Our server, Jonathan, finally came to the table after we had been seated for close to 20 mins. We were asked if we wanted bread and something to drink.  We were still looking over the menu when Jonathan came to the table. Once we decided what to order, our server took our order and told us that he would put it in AFTER he got the order(s) for a party (20+) in the private dining room. I found that strange, especially since we were two parties. I ordered the parmesan-crusted chicken breast with butter sauce, roasted carrots, and an Arnold Palmer (1/2 & 1/2).Close to 10 mins., a young lady brought us some bread along with our drinks. We then noticed several servers started bringing out the food for the large private party, though their orders were taken after our orders were placed.We conversed, ate all the bread, and continued waiting for our food to arrive at our table. You could tell our server Jonathan forgot about us because he said, "Oh!!! Let me see if your food is ready." At this point, we had waited almost 30 minutes. Then, a manager came to our table to apologize for the wait and offered to buy us dessert if we planned on getting dessert. We accepted the offer. I realized Jonathan did not notice that our cups were empty, so I asked for a refill, and he brought refills to us.I was unsure what was happening, but it did not make a good first impression. Honestly, my food and dessert were good, but I'm still in the air about whether I will ever return to give them another try. I cannot say I would recommend this establishment, but if you want to check them out, do so. I was disappointed with the service and the long wait after being seated.

Everyone knows Firebirds is an average steakhouse food chain. I came with some coworkers for brunch. Unfortunately, I was a bit late from volunteering that morning. What stood out to me was Reed, the cook, came out to inform me of the wait time. Even though I was the reason why my food did not come out the same time as the rest of my party. Great customer service.

Met a friend for a late lunch at Firebirds on Saturday. Haven't been to a Firebirds in maybe 15 years. The food was delicious. I had the strawberry goat cheese, salad with shrimp and the carrot cake for dessert. That carrot cake is phenomenal. We love the atmosphere and the ambience and we had a nice time catching up. We were not in a hurry Because we were chatting, but we did notice how long the food was taking and how everything was moving pretty slowly. Not sure if this is typical for this restaurant, so it may not be great if you don't have time to sit back and enjoy.

There was nothing overly special in the food, ambiance, or service. Adequate would be a good description. I ordered shrimp and grits and nothing had flavor, not the grits, not the shrimp, and not the tomato based sauce. I added salt and pepper to help it out but I would recommend it or order it again. A glass broke in my friend's hand. He was holding the glass for his 2 year old when it happened. There was no sense or urgency in how serious that was when we reported it to our waitress. I assume the manager wasn't told because when she came over she did not bring it up. Ignoring that, I did like that our waitress joked with us when drinks were sent back. The bartender made a bellini super sweet and another had an overpowering ingredient. A very "meh" moment.

Always a great meal at Firebirds. First time going to the South Park locale. Great ambiance inside during a working lunch. Our server was very attentive, which is wonderful. Glasses refilled without asking, condiments for every item ordered by the group. The manager stopped by to check on us and helped clear our table. Love their salmon and salad choices. Enjoyable meal for sure.

We had a nice lunch at Firebirds. The food was pretty good, portions were decent, ambiance was welcoming and service was attentive. Ratings for the menu items we tried are below:-Lobster queso dip (4.5/5) - little runny but very good and balanced flavor with a few pieces of lobster)-Chicken caprese pasta (3.5/5) - good balsamic flavor but underwhelming. I believe this dish needed more salt and acid. The roasted tomatoes in this dish were delicious so doubling or tripling this would've helped)-Chilean sea bass (4.25/5) - Sea bass was well cooked, sauce was very yummy, ancient grains could've been better seasoned, asparagus was good)-Service (4/5) - good overall but they took too long to bring our entrees)Overall this is a decent American restaurant if you want a simple lunch with friends. As with most other restaurants, it's a bit overpriced but we may return in the future.

Firebirds is a consistent restaurant that doesn't disappoint. The restaurant is a nice size and able to accommodate different parties. The food is fresh and cooked to your specifications. This restaurant is great for all types of occasions. The menu has a good variety. I've gone for brunch and dinner. The food is delicious every time. This particular visit, I enjoyed the three course dinner menu which had some really good selections. The service was good. The booth seating gave upscale relaxation.

I really enjoyed the wood grilled burger lots of flavor. The service was great and the menu was very large. I cannot wait to go back to try something else different.
