Fin & Fino

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Fin & Fino last weekend. We came from Denver to celebrate my husband's birthday, and everything from the food, to ambience, and definitely the service made this dinner so special!All four of us decided to put our trust in the hands of our wonderful server, Alex. She is an absolute rockstar and took us on a journey of phenomenal food. Her attention to detail was incredible, and she made us feel so special while we were in her presence. There's also an option on the cocktail menu, called The Call of The Clam- where you can tell the server all the things you like and don't like the mixologist come up with a perfectly blended cocktail that suits your taste! Mine turned out delicious!!I highly recommend trying this spot. I eat out a lot, especially for business meals, where there is no expense spared, and this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time!

Unfortunately, tonights dinner will be my final meal at this restaurant. After a poor experience with service at our last visit, I chose to reach out to the manager, Josh, to express my group's disappointment. We had a phone conversation and subsequent email exchanges regarding said experience. He seemed to take it very seriously and assured me that our next experience would be excellent, encouraging our return. He explicitly asked that we go through him to make our next reservation to ensure exemplary service. Fast forward to tonight's reservation made "special". We watched as Josh circled, introduced himself, interacted, and served every table but ours. On to dinner...we ordered multiple dishes...first being the furikake fries...one of which was still completely frozen. We did mention to the server and she showed to the kitchen staff. This alone would prompt a manager to apologize. Nothing. We also ordered their special vegetable of the evening, broccolini, which had a small piece of plastic in it...wrapped around the stalk to be clear. At this point, we felt defeated. While the service from our server was wonderful this time around, it's clear the management doesn't care nor take thoughtful and respectful feedback from their customers. We never expected anything free or any special treatment for the original complaint. It was the blatant disregard that prompted this review...oh, and the frozen fry and plastic bits.

My wife and I came here with my daughter, who is a fan of the other location. We had a very good experience!My wife avoids dairy, and the delightful server was very good to work with her on what she could get. We put in our drink orders and awaited our food. My daughter had them create a cocktail based on her description of what she likes. She enjoyed it and even had them make another. I got a very tasty martini, and my wife had wine. For dinner I had a newly Brody Ed blackened salmon on corn chowder. The blackening was great and the chowder was fresh and delicious. The other two got chicken cutlets in risotto. They enjoyed that very much as well. We split a decent carrot cake. It's an open concept and vibrant vibe. All in all very good and reasonably priced. Recommended!

It was our first time at Fin & Fino, and we will definitely go back. The service was excellent, thanks mostly to our friendly server, Nicki, who provided helpful descriptions and recommendations. We had a nice table by the window, which was more private (and quiet) than center seating. Our cocktails were unique and full of flavor, and we really liked the extensive variety of menu options. Everything was delicious, but the Cajun oysters and hanger steak were our favorites.

Fin &Fino is a very fine restaurant. Most plates are served tapas style. I decided to jump right in for some mains and got the lobster tail as well as the halibut. Lobster was excellent, complimented with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. The halibut was perfectly cooked, however was very bland tasting. Wasn't my favorite, but that didn't take away from the experience. Definitely worth a visit again and again to try all the dishes!

What a place...this is the newest in the growing franchise and for my first time to a Fin & Fino it did not disappoint. The ladies and I had a great time. The food was great and the so was the service. I would recommend. The wine list has something for everyone but I caution you per glass at 18.00 and up they are pricy. The food is really good. I had the halibut and the beef both were outstanding. This is a good date place and the interior is really nice.

The flip from Dressler's is complete and they've done a lovely job. The space is light and airy with a beautiful bar and a nice outdoor seating area. The food and cocktails are top notch as is the service. On the food front there may be a little bias going on as seafood is my favorite genre but this is truly seafood done right. Each dish was beautiful to the eye and to the taste buds. On the night we tried the dish of fish from the raw bar, oysters bienville, seared tuna, scallops, roasted beets and literally everything was 5 star worthy. Can't wait for the next visit.

From the moment I sat down, Jennifer, my waitress, made the experience unforgettable with her impeccable recommendations!Everything she suggested was absolutely delicious from the drinks to the appetizers to the dessert (Side note: they have *the* best carrot cake!). I enjoyed an array of dishes, starting with charred oysters, a salad, a Paloma cocktail, and a newly added lobster dish that was pure perfection (it was like a elevated crab cake!). The seafood was the freshest I've had in Charlotte. This was a flawless 10/10 experience, and I can't wait to return!

Welcome to the newest Fin & Fino restaurant - located in Birkdale Village! Having just opened on February 28th, this location still provides the same amazing food and service as the original location in Uptown.Inside the restaurant, you will be wowed by a large, yet intimate setting, including a beautiful glass water feature. The food is still top notch with fresh seafood options, cocktails/wine and superb service!Make sure to stop by @finandfinoclt for a great date night, group dinner or just because option for amazing food and drink!

The second location of the highly popular uptown restaurant. I have always loved the uptown one and I love this new place too. Totally different inside and vibe . I loved the very clean and bright airiness about the place. Felt upscale but comfortable. Loved their bar area here, and the bar area high tops . This is where we sat, they also have patio seating and some more lower tables in the back. The parking in Birkdake can be hard but there is a small parking lot that is covered behind the restaurant. Seated at the high tops gave us a great view of the whole place and kinda felt like we were at the bar. We had multiple people serving our table which was nice. The bartender came to get our drink order. I had an off the menu white Negroni and my fiend had their Rosè. Both excellent. We ordered several dishes and they came out in a steady progression. The Furikake fries are amazing and a must get! Skinny and crunchy with a yummy mayo type sauce . The tuna crudo is always excellent here I love the touch or orange citrus that gives it a zingy taste. The sautéed shrimp comes in a red pepper and sherry sauce with great dipping bread. Nice big shrimp and the capers give the sauce a nice bite. The scallops are my favorite, comes on a bed of pea risotto and little tomato relish on top. These are buttery and cooked so your knife slices it perfectly. These are and always will be my highlight of eating here. Love these. We had the classic cheesecake for dessert. They had a house made blackberry coulis and fresh blackberries. The cheesecake was delicious, creamy and I loved and the crust. Super smooth and the sauce was a great accompaniment. Another great meal at Fin and Fino . I love this location as it's closer to me but both are quite fantastic. Food remains solid !
