We liked it so much we went back two days in a row. Good food, huge portions. A couple comments:Most of what they serve is cooked fresh, but there are a few things that aren't. One of those is the tamales. I'd steer clear of those.Portions are enough for two to three meals. They're that big.Salsas are not that spicy. For a little more spice ask for the green avocado based salsa. It's got a kick.Service was fantastic and the servers work together to clear plates, get drinks, etc.We had burritos, street tacos, a quesadilla, carnitas, a mushroom quesadilla, and a chile reilleno. All were great.Place is very bright and casual. Family place for sure, date night? Maybe if you're looking casual. All in all, a great find. We're so happy to have a good place to eat in Denver.

Went with friends for dinner, the food and portions are excellent with a great price point. The service was excellent attentive and friendly. This place is the go to for fresh made excellent Mexican cuisine. If I can make one suggestion it would be to turn down the lighting, little to harsh for dining, otherwise this place rocks.

This restaurant has been open for about a week now. It's in the space that Arby's occupied in the opposite end of Shop and Save. There is another Fiesta Patria Restaurant in Troutman that I really like but when I inquired it the menu was the same, I was told they are nothing alike. They did a nice job on the remodel, and it looks nice and has clean attractive look to the place.Service is outstanding and I was asked several times if there was anything else that I wanted. Service is also very fast.Food was fair and the biggest problem was the Salsa. I ordered the Lunch Carnitas and in of itself, that was very good. Came with the customary Chips and Salsa and was very disappointed with the Salsa. It was very thick which is a good point because it does not run off of the Tortilla Chip when you dip it into the Salsa. Problem is the Salsa does not have the clean fresh taste you associated with Salsa and the Salsa is almost devoid of any heat. They need to go back and evaluate their Salsa Recipe. Granted this was their first week open and I hope that this is part of a learning curve, and it improves with time. Will find out on my next visit because I am going to give them another shot in a couple of weeks so we will see.

Don't judge a book by its cover... yes it is located "in" a gas station but authentic & tasty food. Fast service. Limited parking. The guacamole Mexicano was so delicious. The steak fajitas for 2 was a generous portion and we each got our own side played weigh tortillas, lettuce, beans and rice.

My waiter was Lionel. Very nice man. Excellent service. I had the ground beef chimichanga. The beef was very good. The cheese sauce was on the thin side I do prefer a thicker queso sauce. Plenty of interior seating. Great for groups. Highly recommend. Authentic Mexican food. Plenty of food I had leftovers. The taco salad and King burritos seem to be very popular here. Prices are comparable for Denver business so don't expect cheap lol.

This was our first time and what a great new Denver staple! Leonel was the best server (chips and drinks were instant and then never empty!) and the food was great. The king burrito was the winner, and we'll order that again for sure. It could feed two really hungry people, or a family. It's huge. All portions were large and shareable. The chips and salsa were solid, and I asked for a spicier salsa and they brought a green one that was delicious. The house margarita was the only thing that was not great because it tasted like juice. But they have a ton of other margs, so I'd just order a nicer one next time. The vibe is...a gas station...so lean in, order a margarita, and embrace the Denver experience.

Casual Mexican restaurant with very good food and exceptional service. I had the the Monterey Burrito which was great. The Burritos are huge and look as good as they taste. My wife had the sizzling shrimp, steak and chicken Fajitas which came with rice, beans and a salad. The Fajita was big enough to share! The restaurant is clean, however the only small negative is that the lighting is way too bright which ruins the ambiance I recommend you give it a try you will enjoy the food which is also priced right

Great food but just got ripped off. Chalk board had Monday House Margaritas $3.99. Ordered 2 House Margs. Bill came out as $9.50 each! Asked and they said that was for 20 ounces and the special is 16 ounces. Didn't say anything when we ordered or attempt to correct this when we paid. So $5.50 for an extra 4 ounces we didn't even order. Love the food, but not going back because of this.
