Fercott Fermentables

At a weekend festival in Lenoir, we stumbled upon Fercott Fermentables. Absolutely wonderful beer tasting and you can bring in your own food (they don't serve food, which is why you can also bring in a well disciplined dog).Great talking about the Lenoir area, as we were checking it out. Everyone extremely friendly so the vibe was wonderful...

Driving thru Lenoir we discovered this lovely shop. As designated driver I had water as I looked at their many dark beer offerings. WOW they know dark beers. I'm looking forward to returning so I can have me some dark beer! That said, my partner had a lovely IPA which was a good bitter. They have some beers on tap and some on bottle or can. In addition they carry a nice select of wine and liquor. You can bring in food but not beverages, and a dog on a leash is welcome as well. Jennifer, Pete, & Erin were very helpful in our selection.

The best place to get a great bottle of wine or some excellent beers or ciders! Their cheese boards are wonderful - every selection chosen with great care! The owners go out of their way to make sure their customers have a very pleasant experience! Make a reservation if you want to sit indoors.

Fercott Fermentables were recommended to my wife and I by Brown Mountain Beach Resort, as a go-to one-stop-shop, to supply beer and wine for our wedding weekend. We could not have been more pleased with the fair prices and quality of service, not to forget the great selection!Fercott helped us track down and have a pony keg of 2019 Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest, which was an absolute smash hit at our wedding. Furthermore, Fercott delivered precisely what my wife and I ordered, without needing further instruction or coordination from our end (something that went a long way as we were planning and coordinating our wedding ourselves).All-told, my wife and I highly recommend, Fercott Fermentables. Their knowledge and readiness to help is not something you will find at some of the larger chain provisioners of beer and wine. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! The charcuterie boards are great and they always have the best/most interesting beer in stock. Wonderful folks. Always stop in with my wife when enjoying the social district

This place is amazing! Great environment, great variety. They even have meads! Jenn and Chris are perfect hosts - helpful and engaging.

My husband and I recently moved to Lenoir, and for a couple in their mid-20s, there are few places that appeal to us. Fercott is our favorite hang out. Not only to they have an amazing drink selection on draft (which they regularly change up), the owners are so kind and helpful, and you can tell they really love what they do. The mead is always my favorite. You will not regret your visit. Love love love.
