Loved coming here! Been wanting to come here for a while and never got a chance to. They are open on wednesdays and saturdays I believe. Looks small from the outside but they have all the essentials you need! All their vegetables and fruit looked so fresh! Prices are decent for what they are. They even had fresh basil. There were other vendors too. Not sure if they are there every time or if they rotate. But there was also a gluten free bread stand and flower stand. I got a bouquet of fresh flowers for $10. The bouquet were huge and beautiful! All the vendors take cash and credit cards (swipe on their phone). Some might charge you a small fee if you pay with credit cards (maybe .40 cents). Well worth the trip!

Prices were fair and there was a great selection available. I found this place by mistake, but was happy I did. My understanding is that they are only around twice a week, so I kinda have to plan out my next visit. All sorts of fresh fruits and veggies are here for the taking. I picked up some strawberries and they were great. I will return.

The Community Farmers Market at the Villages at Robinson Farms (going south on Rea, this little shopping center (w/retail shops, offices & restaurants) is 2 stoplights past Stonecrest (on the right). The farmers market operates every Wednesday during the late spring & summer season. The hours are noon till 6pm. You can find Fresh Veggies, Fruit, Herbs, Honey, Soaps, Fresh Cut Flowers, and Guest Chefs (someone from the Meat House was grilling on the day I was there). It is small, but they have a great selection of herbs, peaches, tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, blueberries, corn, yellow squash, zuchini, peppers, cherries, potatoes, and lots of other good stuff! I went prepared with plenty of cash, but I did see someone take out a check book and pay that way. (Wow, people still write checks?!)

How can you not love this festive little open air market that makes local produce available on Wednesdays and Saturdays? It is always bustling with avid customers. I shop here regularly on Wednesdays and purchase most of my produce there, particularly my tomatoes. There are also usually other vendors on-site who sell things such as bread, honey, bakery items, and the like. It is also worth your time to walk into the adjacent Butchers Market located in the Villages Farms Shopping Center. I highly recommend it and the outside market.

We have patronized this farmer's market since we moved to Charlotte four years ago. The selection and quality are generally good. However, we will not be back this season. They are not in any way encouraging/practicing social distancing. The employees either didn't wear masks, or worse, had them pulled down around their chin. That is not a healthy practice. When my husband attempted to complain, he was directed to someone who basically looked at him and didn't respond, at all. There was no effort to have people checking out spaced out, and truthfully, I'm not even sure the registers were 6 feet apart. This is a little space, with produce taking up most of the room. I recognize it is a tall ask for them to do the right thing. However, if you have so little concern about your health, your employees health, and the health of your clientele, which is what the manager indicated with his complete silence to my husband's complaint, well that is not a business we will be supporting this summer.
