Fancy Pastry Shop

Stopped here to pick up a few treats on the way home from lunch. What a hidden gem. They have all kinds of desserts from doughnuts to cakes. We got a little assortment of everything. Great food and great service. Definitely worth your time to visit this place.

My favorite bakery for cupcakes! I have celebrated many occasions big and small eating baked goods from Fancy Pastry since childhood. Birthday cakes, cake squares for wedding and baby showers! If I am in Lexington I always stop here for cupcakes. They offer cookies, donuts, donut holes (yum) and lots of pies, bread and more. If you are traveling through here in the way to Florida, please get me a cupcake. Pink icing of course!

This is a very sinful place for me to go because it is SO VERY FREAKING DELICIOUS . I love this place so very much. When I go in here it is so very hard not to come out of there without one of each. My bill is anywhere between $12-$20 each time because I just don't know when to stop picking things out. All the girls that work in there had great customer service and are very good at getting things done. The cake makes can make some really great cakes too. Absolutely loved this cupcake and cake shop in lexington nc. I loved how they set up all the cupcakes according to color. I myself don't even like donuts, but theirs were PHENOMENAL and I loved the cream filled ones! The cool thing is that their frosting is different than most bakeries, almost tastes old fashioned but I loved it! I

I've been coming here all my life'. But over the last few years things have been changing. And Saturday was my biggest disappointment yet. This one that was just to much. It went against everything great that I remember of that place from my childhood. New owners ok since then, but going to the bakery as a child is fun, Joy, excitement, and that brings parents and grandparents like me now in. You should keep those customers happy. If somethings not for sale, don't display it! Period! Especially not something on the lower shelf's, come on. My kids now grandkids have always picked their exact cupcake they want. Even though they all look alike (except color) and the ladies have to reach to their far back (where the kids see them) to get them. When we asked for the ones on the second, bottom tray yesterday. And I went ahead and asked for all of my cupcakes from that tray because they appeared so much dread her and better, I'm buying them I want what I want. She replied, "No, I can't pull them from that tray!" I spent $30 on cupcakes and couldn't pick what I wanted. Fancy pastry if you must sell from one tray now then please don't put anymore out, not only was that rude but it made my birthday grandson sad and me mad!!!!! Unacceptable if you're trying to make happy customers!!!!

Omgoodness. Crème horns are Devine. Oatmeal cookies are awesome. My wife loves the lemon tarts. A hometown jewel. Love this place.

I stopped the car and turned around when I saw the name of this shop. I didn't know what to expect, but the name alone.... There were all kinds of doughnuts, cupcakes, and pies. I grabbed an apple pie with crumble and icing on top. It is fall after all. I called the neighbors on my 1.5 hr drive home and invited them for a taste test. This pie was absolutely amazing!! My husband went so far as to say it was the best apple pie he ever had. The neighbors raved about it. I think there may be a road trip in our future for more of their goodies!

The girl didn't really seem interested in being there or helping to recommend any donuts. We got a few to try but I have had better donuts. Not sure what their cakes taste like.

This is my absolute favorite bakery! I am addicted to the traditional white cake with white icing. The long John's are pretty amazing too.
