Family Grounds Coffee

This is a great small coffee shop that really knows how to bring the crowds. From the coffee to the seating and everything in between; it has it all. They have a variety of all coffees and flavors. The staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to deciding flavors. They had a delicious raspberry White Chocolate special for Valentine's day that hit the spot. The cranberry orange muffin was also to die for. The seating is vast. Couches, chairs, love seats... Something for everyone. They even have puzzles and a free library so you can stay for a while or get something to go. I'm a big fan and will stop in regularly when in town.

Perfect location, beautifully designed and decorated, and the most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff! The fresh ground coffee and warm, house made muffins were delicious. Definitely a must try!

What a lovely place to enjoy a great cup of coffee or a chai tea. We went here on our visit to Sanford and really enjoyed the old vibe of the building. I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte and it was delicious. Two people ordered cold brew and two ordered lattes. The area is big with plenty of space to work. We chatted by the hearth and felt very relaxed. The coffees were handed to us with smiles on the people's faces--that's always a plus.

Being from MPLS there is no shortage of coffee shops. Having moved here last year I've been missing the vibe and this place was recommended to me. I love the interior. It's huge where you can space out and there are plenty of different spots to sit. You can get cozy in a lounge chair, sit at a table or even on the couch. Love it. I've had the chai tea the 2 times I've been here and it's been really good. The bagels are fresh and such a nice addition to coffee/drinks. This is the place to go if you are needing to catch up with a friend. Yes I've stayed for hours just gabbing!

Family Grounds is one of our go to spots for great coffee, tea, or a smoothie. Also great environment for small gatherings to converse and catch up with friends. The service is what I consider thoughtful. Their concern is that the customer receives a quality product even if it takes a bit of time. I typically order a hot Earl Grey Tea. The step time is 4 minutes so if there's orders before mine, well it makes sense that I need to have a seat and relax before being served. I get it. And I'd rather have a great product over a rush job where my beverage is lack luster in order to be another fast serve place. I appreciate their heart and they always have a kind word for folks. Highly recommend and of course I'm a loyal repeat customer.

Love the feel of this coffee shop! My cappuccino was very well made. There's lots of places to sit and study. And they sell fresh food too so that's a bonus! Great addition to the quaint downtown area. Lavender syrup flavor is shwae!!

They've expanded their food and drink menu. And are continually adding to it. I love what they serve, and I'm not the only one. Sometimes it's so crowded the line goes to the door. But it moves quickly. The whole crew is super friendly too. Definitely a place to hang out in with friends and family!

The breakfast avocado toast on gluten free bagel was excellent. Of course, the latte that I ordered was perfect!

Very nice family owned place. We were greeted at the door. I only got coffee but there were many having breakfast. My coffee was very good and I didn't have to wait long. They also have a small gift shop and I bought a cute cup cozy. My husband got a cookie that was not his favorite.
