Family Dough Bagels

There's no denying this is a good bagel spot. Great service, really clean & good quality food. Can't beat it really. Glad we came & we'll add it to the list to always come back when we're in Charlotte.

Family Dough is DEFINITELY the move if you're in the mood for a New York style bagel. Now mind you, you can't replicate NYC water , however, this is the closest thing to a NY style bagel I've EVER tried outside of the city. Had to go with the everything bagel which was seasoned to perfection. As you can see from the picture, they loaded up with Lox, cream cheese, tomato and capers (I opted out of the onions as I had to speak with people lol!) The staff is super welcoming and you can tell they have that family atmosphere down. If you're ever on this side of town do yourself a solid and go check them out. I know I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

When leaving Brooklyn to move to Charlotte I was fearful I wouldn't be able to find a good bagel and family dough has scratched that itch! Staff is always warm and friendly. Bagels are always on point especially the everything - tastes like home. Only peice of feedback is the lack of cream cheese on my bagel on occasion. A true Brooklyn Schmear should be overflowing...other than that this place rocks

The amount of external flavoring, garnish is great. The text of the crust is not good nor is the crumb, the texture on the inside. Traditional bagels should have a nice first chew on the first bite, which these ones lacked. The fermentation period is most likely the issue, as these bagels are rather fluffy. Panning is also an issue, see images. Good luck but we won't be back.

Visiting a friend who says that they can't get good bagels here and asks us to bring him from NY, and I have to say that these look great but mine were overpriced and under-seasoned.

Let me preface this review-I prefer to give my business to local places versus chains and I also recognize people are doing the best they can. However, on this busy Saturday morning, this bagel fell short. Aside from the 15 minute wait time to receive my order, it was not good. The egg tasted overcooked and there was barely any cream cheese on the bagel. Not worth $7.

If you want a good bagel, try FD Bagels. It's a nice family owned shop in Mint Hill. Their bagel sandwiches.....absolutely delicious! Fresh and hot every time we order. There are a variety of bagels you can choose from and build your sandwich how you like it. Easy online ordering and ready on time. My coworkers and I are obsessed with this bagel shop. 5 stars, 10/10!! We love you guys over here at Atrium Health Patient Placement !!

The best bagels I've ever had served up by the nicest people you'll ever meet! My husband and I eat there several times a week. Make sure you check out the other baked goodies as well!

Incredible service and the bagels are fantastic! All freshly made in the morning and the atmosphere is great as well.

We came here for the first time after hearing great things and these are the best bagels in the area by a landslide. We got the Sunday special bagel, a chocolate chip bagel, and it was amazing! I think it should be apart of the regular lineup!
