Very Elegant Lounge, the vibe is amazing upscale with a one of a kind ambiance that you won't find anywhere in Charlotte. These negative reviews are definitely competitors because the quality of this venue speaks for itself! 5 star establishment!!

BEWARE!!I would have never recommended this place to have my Uncles 50th birthday party. Wish my Aunt did more research. From start to finish horrible customer service. Thought there would be some Southern Hospitality NOT HERE. If you don't want to give people a great experience why open up an establishment and be rude to your paying customers. The men are sassier then I don't know what. It is absolutely disgusting. Black men not giving two f$cks about nothing, and for them to think that kind of behavior is acceptable is beyond me. Then when you mention it ohhhhh let them put on their lipstick to tell you they don't care.If any person of color supports this place you are the problem too. They put all their efforts into the decor and none in the staff. This the most disrespectful place I've ever been in Charlotte and suggest no one to return back or support this type of behavior.

I came to NC to visit a friend and after a hilarious show at The Comedy Zone we ended up at Explicit. The one star is for the DJ. The music was on point but that's it. We got there at about 915pm and the place was almost empty. Maybe 7 people inside. We decided to sit outside and we were the only ones out there when we arrived. We ordered a round of drinks which arrived after about 10 minutes. The waitress asked if we wanted food and one of my friends ordered the lobster fried rice and we all got another round of drinks. Her food came in about 30 minutes then I put in an order for salmon and macaroni. After abut 10 minutes she came and said they were out of salmon so I changed my order to shrimp alfredo. 5 more minutes passed and she came and said they had to cook more pasta so it'd be about 20 minutes. If I wanted to wait they'd take 10% off so I agreed.Long story short, I didn't get my food until an hour and a half later. I had them pack it to go. A woman wearing a badge (but she gave us water earlier and she was going around from table to table checking on people so I'm not sure what her role was) said they were supposed to comp us drinks while we were waiting but no one told us that. 2 of my girls got vodka and tonic and they said it was watered down. When we left there were more people but ot still wasnt crowded and it was almost an all female crowd. I tried my food when I got back home and the pasta was tasteless. The shrimp was flavored well but the pasta tasted like wet flour.I don't think this place is going to last.

I had a horrible experience here at this establishment and I would never return or recommend this place to ANYONE. The "owner" or manager lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. My party paid for an entire section and they were trying to use half of our table for another section until we spoke up about the issue. Not only that but the same lady was arguing with customers all night and her along with the security tried to fight customers outside the club. This was the most ghetto experience I have ever witnessed. I'm addition, the DJ was terrible the entire night and didn't play any suggested/wanted music. I guess thats why the club was mostly empty. Paying for sections and bottle service is not worth it at this club and I will be trying a new club next time I'm in Charlotte because this experience just wasn't a good one.

Don't waste your time or money here. The food took two hours to arrive to our table and two people did not get their meals. One of our friends ordered a Caesar salad and it did not arrive the entire two hours we waited. Especially if you are visiting from out of town I would not recommend this location as a reflection of nightlife in Charlotte.

I am here for the Rhythm N Booze Brunch & Day Party held every 4th Sunday it's an R&B experience and the music and vibe is amazing! Great customer service and the food is to die for! They also have hookah! I recommend this cute lounge! They have live music and dinner parties as well!

incredibly disrespectful staff with men even more sassy and rude than the women. so unhelpful. so disrespectful. so useless. don't ever go here if you want to have a good time. also kicked us out 15 minutes early. tall light skin with curly hair who threatened to fall security and the police as if I was a threat. dark skin man with a hat and a beard. lightskin girl about 5'3 with a medium cut. didn't want to share her name with me. older lady was okay. my people wouldn't let me speak to her but it seems like she might've cared a little. this is exactly the problem with black owned businesses. they want our money but they don't want to help. terrible terrible day. I will never return here again and i'll make sure everyone knows my experience.please don't go here if you want a stress free, relaxing experience

This place deserves less than one star! A party of 10 of us went here on a Saturday night and purchased a booth (that was overpriced) prior to going however once we got there the security and manager decided that it was a good idea to keep our group standing outside in the pouring rain for 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO SEATING US! The point of purchasing a booth is to be able to skip the line and enter right into the establishment. Once inside were then held at the door for another 10 minutes while a manager lady attempted to speak to us about their protocol (completely pointless) I would never recommend celebrating a birthday or important event here because they will definitely ruin it for you!

Do not come here unless you enjoy waiting hours for rabbit-sized meals, waitresses that ignore your needs, and rude bouncers. For the lounge to be as empty as it was, there was no reason for our meals to arrive so late. Every 20-30 minutes, the waitress assured us that the kitchen was "still working on it." Now I'm no chef, but I find it hard to believe a kitchen needs an hour and a half to prepare a side salad. The manager echoed the same message. If you're going to continue coming to our table with bad news, at least take the time to refill our water or comp some meals. After 2 hours we were more than ready to leave, but the waitress was holding our receipt ransom to keep us to our reservation time! But not before telling us we'll need to move quickly to make room for another reservation following ours. With pleasure! While a friend was in the bathroom we were told we would need to wait in the 20-degree weather while staff had a private talk in the front hallway. I hope they talked about how to make improvements to their customer service because they surely need it!

Loved the atmosphere! The DJ was great! Staff was very friendly. Good night with good food & drinks.
