Escape Artist

I was in search of something different to do for my son's birthday so I stopped in to check out Escape Artist. At the time of my visit there was only one person working and she was in the back taking care of a group. She came out to briefly to answer a few questions and handed me a card showing the different rooms, she then told me to go on the website for more info then darted into the back as I snapped a few photos of the inside. I checked out the website and shared my findings with my teenage son who was not overly thrilled about getting trapped in a room and finding his was out through the clues therein! I guess I'll be back with a more mature group to check out Escape Artist.

Purchased tix through Groupon and had a blast. The puzzle was a bit challenging but we managed to beat the clock. It was a little on the less modern side but it works for the location. Street parking and some steps away the from a delicious creamery for an after escape dessert! I'd go back.

This was fun. We did Santa's Workshop. Neat and cool setup. Actually ran a little late for scheduled time. The attendant took off 10 minutes of our time for the delay but was nice enough still. The only reason I took a point off here was because of radio issues. A couple times had to be switched out due to interference and to be honest we couldn't even really hear her on radio even after. She actually gave us a hint for something we had already done when we asked for hints. She seemed knowledgeable but leaves a little to hope for in more natural friendliness I guess. Overall pretty good time, not the best but definitely a fun time for a group. There is no actual lock in so you can walk out if you need to without having to call to anyone. There wasn't a highlight or a low one to think of, just pretty standard escape game overall.

This was our 2nd time at an escape room The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did the hardest one which was called Area 51. We solved the game with no time to spare. We had a good time and highly recommend this one.

SO MUCH FUN!!!! I can't wait to go back again! Went with work as a team building exercise and it was awesome! Jared was our guide and he was great! Super helpful, and very friendly! He answered all of our questions and gave us a couple extra clues ;) Thank you!

We, (Jeffrey and I), after eating a light lunch stumbled upon the Escape Artist. Jeffrey is a bit adventureous (we like to tie each other up)...so we gave it a shot! Ha ha! So much fun! The reason I gave it three stars, is because one of the staff kept flirting with Jeffrey the whole time. Hint hint- he's mine!

My two sons and I did the Area 51 room and the folks at Escape Artist were super friendly and helpful. They were very motivated to ensure we had a great experience and they were successful! My sons and I had a fantastic time and felt the room offered a great variety of challenges, good theming, and a well-balanced level of difficulty. We have done multiple escape rooms previously and this was one of our favorites. We were able to escape with just minutes to spare and would highly recommend this room and the folks at Escape Artist!

Yesterday I did my second room at escape artist and it was even more fun than the first!! Staff is awesome and genuinely wants you to enjoy yourself. The rooms are challenging which makes it even better! I'll definitely be back for some of the other rooms!

Da Vinci's office is a good starter room for those who have never done an escape room prior. Be warned that the room is very dark - this bothered me a bit as I would rather be challenged by puzzles than by light - but you are given a small flashlight. The room is very methodical - you can't really get thrown off course as the clues literally lead you from step 1 to 2 to 3. This means if there are 8 of you then ALL 8 of you will work each step as a giant huge group in a little tiny room. My past escape room experience has offered situations where groups could split up and work several clues at once which helps ease the tension. Our group was with a group of 4 strangers and you could feel the exasperation as my group, who had completed escape rooms before, started to take over the entire experience to enable us to finish on time. I feel as if the other group of 4 left disappointed that they were a bit left out of the experience. In addition, the dimness of the room resulted in lost time as we asked for a clue and the person running our room couldn't see what we had done and had to get a play by play of where we were before she could help us. Overall a nice facility; however, I don't have much interest in completing the other rooms as I would rate my Da Vinci experience as pretty middle of the road as far as escape rooms go. If there was a Groupon or special promo to cut the $25/each price I'd consider returning.

Great fun! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Escape Artist for a fun experience.
