Ernie's Smokehouse

Very friendly staff, and the smoked corned beef was pretty tasty. Unfortunately the brisket was bland and dry. The meat had no bark(seasoning) on it leaving it bland. Maybe I got a bad piece, but I won't be selling that to my customers if I want a repeat.

Amazing food!! We had corned beef, pastrami and pulled pork and all were exceptional quality. So much depth of flavor - an amazing meal!!

We were at the Matthews farmers market and decided to try Ernie's BBQ ribs, pastrami, cornbread. It was delicious! Best BBQ ribs we have tasted in Charlotte. He was sold out of brisket so we will get that next time.

This the best BBQ we've had in a very long time. Every item was awesome. We had chicken, pork, baked beans, and corn bread. All were awesome! The cuts of meat were high quality and more lean than fat. On top of that the smoked flavor was perfect. The sauces are also excellent. Can't wait to try their turkey for Thanksgiving!
