Empire Pizza Bar Mint Hill

Really surprised with the pizza. Great service and you can sit at the bar and eat. Wings are on point and they have different slices everyday until 3. Casual dinning nothing fancy.

Came to Empires for dinner with friends and decided to sit outside on the patio which it looked like it was gonna start raining and the manager was so nice he made sure to put the covers down before it started so we could still sit outside for the duration of our meal. What I loved about this pizza shop is you can buy by the slice at anytime which is perfect for my daughter because she doesn't like kid size pizzas she loves slices so we got a couple slice and for myself I got the Cajun wrap and pasta salad that were both really good. The Cajun had great heat and the pasta salad was creamy I loved the noodles they used. Definitely would eat here again.

We decided to give ourselves a break so we ventured out to Empire Pizza Bar in Mint Hill and I must say it was worth the trip! Our server was Olivia and she was fantastic! She was able to suggest some of the customer favorites on the menu and they were great suggestions. We noticed Olivia continuously checked on all of her tables to make sure they were having a great dining experience. We ordered garlic, parmesan wings, and buffalo wings. Along with a veggie pizza. The wings were accompanied by a house ranch sauce that was so tasty I could have drank a cup of it (lol). The veggie pizza was covered with the freshest vegetables and cheese and it was excellent! We will be back for more.

Empire is still a great addition to Mint Hill! We enjoy sitting on the patio, having a few drinks and eating pizza. The service is always great. Their rewards program is very generous and it is tied to your credit card. They do a cornhole tournament on Wednesdays too!

We decided to order pizza and wings from Empire to enjoy while watching the Colorado vs Oregon game. Fortunately, the food lived up to our expectations because the game was a bit of a letdown... lol. Anyway, Empire is a go-to spot for my sister and brother-in-law, and I was just visiting for the weekend.The pizza was genuinely one of the best I've had in a while. As for the wings - OMG, they were fantastic. I'm quite picky about wings; I don't like them too big, and I can't stand if they're over or undercooked. But with Empire, no complaints at all - the wings were delicious. We ordered 20, but honestly, I wish we had gone for more because they were that good. On my next visit, I'll definitely be returning to Empire. They didn't disappoint in the slightest.

After a long day of gardening in the hot sun we were ready for some fresh and delicious pizza and Empire Pizza was a perfect choice. We had the large Mama and the Five Boroughs Meat pizzas. It was great both immediately and reheated the next day. Great pick up service and friendly staff at the hostess stand. Looking into the restaurant, it appears friendly and inviting if we had felt like sitting down for a slice. Hands down a solid pick for a quick and easy take out meal as we sat back and had a relaxing meal with friends.

Although pretty much pizza and wing standard fare, the service was excellent and the food came out quickly, even on a bust Friday night.

Pizza was not hot, did not arrive as ordered and honestly a true disappointment.Unfortunately, waitress didn't really care pizza was not what had been ordered. Will give it another try as this is a fantastic little town outside of Charlotte and nice area.

First time ordering take out/eating at this restaurant. Ordered pepperoni, cheese, onion pizza; it was mediocre at best. I will not be back.I've never had a pizza with such a little amount of sauce. Made me wonder if I had to ask for it to be added to my pizza.There are too many other pizza options in the Matthews/Mint Hill area to settle for this disappointing pizza. I will NOT be a repeat customer.

Update to my original review. After confirming that they do pre-cook their Sicilian pizza dough, Empire extended an offer to try the Sicilian pizza again which we did. This time was much better but I am still not a fan of this method. Anyway we appreciate the offer they extended and will still frequent and purchase their pizza.
