El Valle

This is a classic Mexican restaurant with great food and great service. The restaurant is popular and lively, and the food selection is extensive. I tried the "fresh" margarita and it was really delicious and light-tasting. All of the food was fresh and flavorful. I was even pleasantly surprised by how good the guacamole in my salad was. I'm happy to have found this place. This will be my neighborhood go to for Mexican cuisine.

Last night was our second visit and second time having Alondra as our waitress. Her pace was great, as well as her attentiveness! This visit I chose the undercover chimi and my hubs had the burrito Michacoana (sp?) with the queso con chorizo app. It was all very delicious! We left full and happy with our leftovers!

Love this place more every time I come! Service is always on par and food tastes made from scratch. The fajita bowl is always full of meat and vegetables which I love and their portion sizes are great.

Excellent food and service! One thing that really stood out was the beef hamburger meat. Most places the beef comes out semi-greasy but at El Valle it has been perfect every time and flavorful. Margarita specials are nice also! Check them out!

Atmosphere is a basic family, small town, place. Restaurant seems clean and colorful and our service was great. Most dishes looked fine but I (and my girlfriend) got the carne asada which was cooked down to shoe leather. She got a top shelf margarita, which looked normal. My "regular" one was a toxic neon green so clearly its not only the tequila thats different. I hate to drag a place but clearly it wasn't my cup of tea. If youre looking for a tex mex place to eat with your kids in Matthews, this might be a choice.

waitress guy was very rude and unpleasant. I asked for street tacos they gave me three flour tortillas tacos with blain chicken with lettuce on top. instead of having a melt down i walked to the front and let them know i didn't even take one bite of out the tacos and that what i ordered i didn't receive (the street tacos) the lady at the front didn't acknowledge my disappointment and proceeded to ring me up. Never going here again SO HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

My all time favorite Mexican restaurant!!!!Almost all of my birthday dinners are here!!!Staff is kind and efficient. The place is clean. And super fast service. I 100% recommend eating here!!!!

Food is good, but the service is terrible. On two occasions I've been totally ignored by waitstaff. Most recently my order was taken but my drink was never brought out. They just need to pay more attention.

Gone here for actually 15 years straight, my fav spot in matthews, amazing food for affordable prices. What else could you ever ask for??????? Frozen sangria margarita goes crazy

Best ACP around. I would recommend this place to anyone. And the portion size was fantastic.
