I just need to stop coming here and giving them another chance. So Absolutely awful, I was not able to finish my meal. I cannot believe there is any pride from the waitstaff in delivering these meals the table with the label of "Mexican Food".

Under new management! And a new name. As soon as we walked in the door boom greeted, wow so different then last time. We hadn't been seated two seconds poof chips, and don't blink what would you like to drink. Service, something that was no where to be found last time. I ordered the burrito Mexicano, my wife in her need for spice ordered the shrimp Diablo. The food wasn't super fast to the table, but drinks and chips got refilled. Our waitress was very nice, especially with them being a little busy.My burrito was good, the steak was tender, but I wasn't crazy about the rice and beans. My wife Diablo wasn't Diablo it was a creamy chipotle. She wasn't thrilled with it being the wrong sauce as she loves the spice. However the sauce was out of this world. Super creamy with this amazing smokey flavor. She was beyond thrilled with the massive shrimp. Our waitress apologized for the mistake in the sauce as she had put in for diablo and not sure how it got mixed up. Me I'm glad, because I want to try a ton of things with that sauce. I told the guy at check out who said they are getting new menus and I told him that needed to be on it. Glad we had heard about the management change, and came back. Will have to visit again and find things to try with that chipotle sauce!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I ate there for dinner on Saturday and there was no wait. We were close to the door so it was a bit cold. The chips were warm and the salsa was ok. Our server was quick and kept our drinks and chips filled. I ordered the tongue tacos. For 8.50 I got 3 overstuffed tacos and rice and beans. The tacos were excellent. They served them with a dish of sweet onions and cilantro plus a lime. The beans had a good flavor but the rice was a little bland. My husband enjoyed his quesadillas. Our waiter brought out mini sosapillas as a complimentary dessert. I liked that it was crisp and not overly sweet. This is my new go to place for cheap Mexican.

We popped into El Paisano for lunch after doing a little grocery shopping at Lowes Foods. This is a pretty typical "Mexican" restaurant in the area. You are seated and someone comes out pretty quickly to take your drink order, then another person comes and brings chips and salsa to the table. Then the drink order taker returns to take your food order.I ordered the Burrito Grande a flour tortilla encasing some steak, that seemed like it was saved from yesterday, but hey I guess for the price 6.99 I guess you can't expect too much and its a good way to get rid of leftovers also! I hear you can get this in leftover chicken as well. it comes topped with a red sauce and some cheesy "rancho" sauce a little lettuce and some sour cream round out the dish. Not really that bad honestly but something that my wife can do better, but....my wife is from Mexico City so there you go. She ordered a Coctel de Cameron y Pulpo (shrimp and octopus cocktail). This comes out in a big ole margarita glass with a few packs of saltine crackers. Again decent but a little on the sweet side, I had to go seek out some Tapatio hot sauce for her to spice it up a little bit. Drink selection here is limited but the beer is muy frio (that's very cold for the non Spanish speaking crowd) and comes out in 32oz mugs, so that is always a big plus in my book.If you are looking for super authentic then this isn't your place, but if you want a decent burrito, or enchilada then you should pop in and get you one.

It was my friends birthday and we received great service. The ladies ordered margaritas and said they were strong and tasty. I ordered a salad with steak and shrimp. It was a generous size and the protein was cooked well. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or light dinner.

Awful!!! We both laughed about how we felt like we were in a high school spanish classroom. The server didnt seem too happy to be there. My watered down lime margarita somehow had peach in it. The food was expensive and poor quality. To top off my disappointment and adding to the feeling of being cheated we saw the health score as we paid...81.5. Had i seen the score prior i wouldve walked back out. I just felt sickened after that. We will not be back again!

My friend and I checked this place out because it was so close to her house. Yet another place I can get wonderful street tacos! The menu has a ton of options and one day I'll get something other than tacos. Plus, the beer is cheap (which, yay!) Next time I'll get a margarita, just to see what those are like there. I'm very picky. I deducted a star because the last time we went they brought the tacos out then asked if I wanted cilantro and onions and when I said yes I had to wait around 6 mins for that. My friend had already finished her meal by the time I got to start mine. They weren't busy and I would assume the have prepped chopped onions and cilantro on hand at all times. Also, they recently got a lower than appealing rating, so I hope they are working on bringing it back up!

Live down the street. From Arizona and I demand good Mexican food. I can tell you this food is fresh. Try the Beef Tamales...un beef-livable!Those 2 photos of the "mystery" item is a stem from REAL FOOD. When you cut your own veggies and make your own salsa, sometimes little stick and stems will make it in. Try fresh food.....Ive literally been here 10+ times over the past 6 months. I have never done a yelp review but after seeing the BS on here I couldn't sit by. The food is great, service is what you expect from a good Mexican restraint.I literally feel SO BAD for the guy that thinks Taco Bell is better. Life has so much more to offer

I'm not sure what some of these entitled reviewers are expecting, but I have eaten here a number of times and have always had a positive experience. The food was good, service fine. Lots of people enjoying themselves. Prices reasonable. Give it a try.
