Eggroll Chen

This place is great, inexpensive and huge portions. I ordered the general tso chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I would order it al again exactly the same.

Looks can be deceiving it's very unassuming from the outside and the inside.The counter is very old school interior inside & out.The owner and staff are serving up authentic Taiwanese food, which is a huge plus for me.We ordered the special Beef Noodle Soup & Mapo Tofu.The soup may not have been the most flavorful broth we've ever tried, but I appreciate that we have this option here in Columbia, and the portion was generous.I really enjoyed my Mapo Tofu, I wasn't sure what to expect, not spicy at all for me, and they were very generous with the pork, I was expecting to see ground pork, so I was surprised to see the pieces of pork in my dish, it comes with a mound of rice, which is really overkill for me, but you won't leave hungry.I will definitely be back to try their namesake Eggroll, it sounds like people really enjoy that their.The gentleman who rang us up was friendly and the service was quick, I appreciate that the make their own spice and condiment bar with "Chili oil" yum...

Always a favorite spot when I'm back home seeing family. We've been going to Eggroll Chen for about 20 years.

Food wise, appetizing but lacks seasoning on some meals. The service is swift and doesn't frown upon customers not knowing what to order. The inside of the restaurant is fairly outdated but gives an old diner feel.

I could survive on the egg rolls from this place. The egg rolls are the best in Columbia!! The rest of the food is pretty solid and you get a lot for the price. Make sure to try the homemade sauces- the mustard will have your eyes watering but it is killer. They offer both eat in and carry out !!

My best friend always raves about their beef noodle soup! She was right it was so good one of my favorite and only dishes I have tried here. The broth was made out of beef and it had beef inside with noodles and some veggies. The broth was not salty at all! Which is a good thing for me. I can't wait to go back when I'm needing the beef middle soup or even try something new. The employees were all so kind and made the food really quick! It's hard to find good Asian cuisine. Can't wait to go back and try a new dish.

I was recommended to try this resturant off of a FB group. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and fried rice. The broccoli was made just the way I like it and the shrimp was not mushy. I throughly enjoyed the shrimp and broccoli. I gave only 4 stars because the rice was plain. No onion, salt, sprouts , pepper... NOTHING!

General Tao's Chicken. I've never been disappointed as much with a Chinese meal as this. I'm from the Northeast and I'm sure not all Chinese restaurants in the south are similar (hope not). Generals chicken is supposed to be crispy in a glazed type sauce. This was soggy like it was taken out of the freezer and jiggled around in a wok for a minute. Way too many onions mixed in as well. Egg roll was subpar but that could just be what I'm accustomed to.

i love egg roll chen more than i love my family. something about an order of sweet and sour chicken, honey sesame chicken, and an egg roll just makes being alive such a privilege. i love you egg roll chen, please never go away.

This is the best Chinese food period! The menu is unique unlike all of the cookie cutter places that are everywhere. I have been a regular for more than two decades and have never been disappointed nor have I ever had my order messed up. The Generals chicken and the Dynasty Delight are my favorites. My wife likes the Emperor's Shrimp. The egg rolls are great. Never like the yellow mushy cabbage you get in most place. Also several unique Taiwanese dishes you want find anywhere else.
