Eddie's on Lake Norman

Even when it was Vinnie's, the lake front bar where the best oysters could be found, Eddie's has proved itself as a Lake Norman restaurant staple for great food, good atmosphere, lively servers and a "Cheer's vibe you just have to love. I've been here a few times, even by myself, and the people that were there, the food that was served was nothing short of outstanding. The pasta dishes are amazing, the shrimp chowder is to die for and even the salads are good. Pricing is normal for this type of place but I can get a Caesar salad with a baskets of wings and a beer for $23.00. Not bad for a place like this. If you're new to the area and want good seafood, pasta and atmosphere, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed at all .

Went to Eddie's for my birthday/anniversary dinner with my husband two years in a row. I can't believe I forgot to post because I just love this place so much.I go specifically for the main lobster. I have gone and enjoyed the flavor and freshness of the lobster every time. The sides are also very good. Even my husband enjoys the food and drinks there.Last time we were there, they had live musicians.A huge plus about this beautiful restaurant is that you can sit and enjoy the lakeside view and even take photos. I prefer to eat on their covered patio because I find it perfect on summer days. The waitstaff is always so friendly. I can't wait to go back this summer and enjoy such a good treat.

My boyfriend and I were up in the Mooresville area during the holidays, and we drove around trying to find a place for dinner. We came across Eddies and we're so glad we did. We were seated pretty quickly even though it was packed. Our server was super energetic and made us feel welcomed. We started off with the hushpuppies - They had a pineapple dipping sauce that was so tasty. I got a salad and my boyfriend got the catch of the day. We both really enjoyed our meals. Great pricing for the portion sizes as well.I'd love to come back on a spring/summer day and enjoy the patio overlooking the lake.

The patio, weather and our server Holly made our Tuesday afternoon! Drinks were great, food was fast and delicious, and service was perfect! My friend and I went for a lunch on the water because the weather was perfect and she loved the lake side atmosphere! Dogs are only allowed on the side patio, but her pup loved it! Definitely recommend!

Delicious food. GORGEOUS view. Great service. Perfect Sunday lunch spot. The patio is beautiful and their sunset walk it's sooo cute. Wish I was here for sunset but Will definitely be coming back.

This is probably my most challenging Yelp review to date. A lot going on here! And I enjoyed my experience and would like to return so I must be cautious with my review (based on what I have read). I also say that because I reviewed 115 poker rooms across the country and got banned from two due to negative reviews (most reviews were positive but I took no prisoners on bad experiences). As I said, this was a good experience, but it wasn't perfect (tough to do) and I went through reviews and noticed owner banned at least one person for a negative review. I'm just going to stay away from that but I will say while pride in a business is important, maybe just remove "We are the PREMIER Italian restaurant in LKN." Imho, replies come across better without that line. For service, I'm not a fast food guy but I have been doing Uber Eats (and book sales) while waiting for a deal with MGM (now might not happen) and see the service and culture all over LKN with 3,900 deliveries. One thing I have noticed is that Chick-Fil-A is outstanding at customer service (incredibly friendly and efficient). Perhaps snag one of their managers and train the staff.... Eddie's is already a hit but this move would likely increase revenue via word-of-mouth and more positive reviews. If this is intrusive, my apologies, but this also stems from being a Consumer Goods writer for Investopedia and Motley Fool for five years so I always look at this stuff. Anyway, the atmosphere here is an absolute 10 if you sit outside on the lake. It's very relaxing. And I guess I got lucky with a good server: Hailey. Additionally, the staff at the front smiled and said hello and goodbye. That is important. But based on what I have read, most negative reviews have stemmed from service. Moving to food, I ordered the Meatballs With Linguini (piece of bread on side). My meal was average and the Mojito was mostly water yet the Old Fashioned was done well. Not sure if bartender change or just better at one drink than another. For food and drink, I sense this is the kind of place where you have to figure out what works for you. I also think you should be prepared for long waits due to the venue's location and high demand OR visit at a non-peak time. Overall, I would definitely recommend Eddie's. Go in mentally prepared for what to expect. It might be a chill and relaxing experience and it might be an adventure.

This spot is perfect for a covered patio lunch. Food is great, service is excellent. You can walk around the property and explore after you dined. In the meantime you can enjoy the view of Lake Norman. They are surrounded by lush greenery and the lake. So much to admire! Tip: take the high chairs to have an unparalleled view of the lake while you're munching! Thank you

Another quick stop in, this time for some sports and a bowl of soup and a cocktail at the bar.Server was MARVELOUS and helpful and responsive and professional -- even followed me to the parking lot when he saw that I had left a team roster.Another good experience (see original review). Nothing super fancy, but a fun spot on a lovely location.

My Wife and I dined in on Sunday, We didn't have a reservation but the host got us a table pretty fast! We liked the vibe of the restaurant, it was very welcoming. We started off with appetizers of course. We ordered the fried oysters, oysters Rockefeller and a Caesar salad. Fried Oysters 6/10Oysters Rockefeller 5/10Caesar Salad 7/10For Entrees I ordered the pasta (angel hair) with shrimp and broccoli and my wife order the fish and chips with sweet potato fries! Pasta 8/10 Fish and chips 8/10For dessert we ordered the apple rollover if I'm not mistaken but we didn't enjoy it. To make a long story short most of the food and the service were good. The view is nice and again the staff were very welcoming. I would eat here again.
