I need to grab and go. I see plenty cars all the time at this restaurant. My macaroni and turnip greens were fine. However, the chicken breast was the size of a bird but it was tasty and candy yam from the can was bland.Never had a 'sweet' turkey dressing until now. most of the diners were senior citizens, and I believe that the lightly seasoned food caters to their customers, which is fine.Good customer happy vibes throughout.

Nice atmosphere, really good food. Nice waiters. One more thing, their banana pudding and corn bread is delicious.

Can't beat the prices or the service. I wouldn't say that the food is going to reinvent the wheel but it's straightforward comfort food that I always appreciate.

My dad loved this place and so do we...and a whole lot of others, here in Matthews, NC. Old fashioned regular grub, specials every day, never standing still wait staff and a kitchen that is always hustling. Open three meals a day, good portions and I sure do like the servers, variety of grub and reasonable prices. Parking in their lot in front.Lasagna is one of my favorite, along with those breakfast omelettes. They make their own ranch dressing and that on your salad or french fries is a super good tasty meal. If you are living alone, this can be your kitchen, without any problem.

This is an old school gem of a diner. Simple and inexpensive traditional fare done quickly, with friendly and attentive service. I sat at the counter and chatted with the wait staff between their tasks. The coffee was easy to drink (though don't expect to find any nut milks here). There was none of the edgy impatience of Starbucks or stuffy aloofness you might encounter at many bougie breakfast boutiques around town. Highly recommend.

Great inexpensive breakfast! Mostly good service 4 out of 5 times. It Will defined make you feel young with all the seniors there for breakfast.

Me and my parents go to this restaurant regularly almost every Sunday and it is perfect every time. The waitresses are very kind and attentive, and the food is always fresh. The portions are a good size, the food is affordable, and the quality is top notch. I definitely recommend eating here, the whole place has a comforting, southern ambiance.

A typical meat n three diner. The food is good and the prices even better. Double Burger and fries at 8 bucks. Been here several times and the food is always good and the service is also good.

Amazing place, Family Restaurant kids wife your buddy down the street,all welcome. Good Greek and Southern food. A Charlotte Gem. Great for a work lunch or weekend quick bite to eat. Call in orders or eat in. You should go there, take the family too.

The food is always good. Good home cooking with some Greek dishes throw in. Always great service. The ambience is friendly and comforting. I don't live in Locust, but I will come here whenever I am in town.
