This winery operates on a "membership basis" which means you can't just walk in the door and buy a glass or bottle of wine unless you're a member. A one day membership is $25/person and includes a 4 sample tasting or $10 off a bottle of wine. Bottles range from $28 to $125. The winery clearly caters to the super rich people living in the area rather than to the average person. The wine itself is above average, but the price is really more about the atmosphere and audience. The grounds are very nice, with a patio, fire rings, and terraces with lights and Adirondack chairs. Bathrooms are very clean, and have a $3,000 self sanitizing Toto Washlet bidet with a heated seat. The women behind the counter are friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the wines they serve.

We absolutely fell in love with the people and intimate space of this very cozy winery. Service was excelent and although we are not members yet, we felt completly welcomed by everyone. I had the house Merot.

If you don't live in the community, they make you take the "back" road to get there which is pretty scary. Dirt roads, no signal on cell phone. When you FINALLY get there you need a wine! They make you pick either red or white (no mixing) and VERY limited selection in both. I'd rather visit Grandfather or Linville Wineries where they are set up for the public. It was clear this boutique wine bar caters to the community NOT the public. Was disappointed.
