Me & Ron back on 10/10/24 for some Fall golf.We were hoping to see some color in the leaves but too early. What we did find were exceptional greens and wide open fairways in excellent condition. This is a shot makers course and if you don't stay in the fairway you'll be looking for your ball among the pine cones and good luck with that. The previous Head Pro, Matt has moved on to Piney Point in Norwood, NC.The new guy is Wally Moore. There are also two new ladies in the Pro Shop, Kayla and Melissa who are very efficient at getting you in and out.The range, chipping and putting practice areas are all in great condition. It was sunny day, a little on the cool side at 61 degrees for a 10a tee time with wind gusting to 27 mph. We had great pace of play and finished the front in 2 hours, it had warmed up to 67 and the wind was down.We made the turn and kept on playing as the group in front of us moving so we were able to play ready golf and complete the round in 4 hours. They advertise to allow 4.5 hours for 18 holes.Since this was my third time playing in 3 years, I had some course knowledgewhich made a big difference, especially on #11, 452 yard par 5. It's a blind shot until you're about 200 yards out and then you can see the edge of the pond that juts out to the right. You have a decision to make. Go over the water or play to the right & avoid the pond on your left and have 200 yards of open fairway to the pin. It's a large green so a well placed shot will give you a great birdie opportunity.I would play here more often but it's a 40+ mile trek through Charlotte traffic but it's worth it.

First off this is a FANTASTIC Golf Course that's well worth it for the drive and money ($65). From tee, fairways & greens. However do not go on a Saturday unless you are prepared to wait every hole and play in 5+ hours.

I'm a huge fan of Eagle Chase!I've played here 4 times over the past couple years and will continue to come back. The course and greens are always in great shape and I feel like I've never really had a bad lie when playing here. One thing I will say is that their cart paths need a lottttt of work. But as long as you are okay with driving just inside the path in the rough you'll have a smooth enough ride. The course is pretty decent length and there's a large variety of holes with doglegs both directions and a ton of elevation changes. All in all, a challenging course and a fun test!

From Arizona - I've golf many courses and this course is AWESOME! It's a trek or shall I say pilgrimage every golfer should take to THIS course! LOVE the elevated tees, challenging bunkers and water hazards! The Greens are wonderful so are the fairways! When I come back, I'm playing here! And bringing my Golfer husband

Charlotte's best kept golfing treasure. Course is in pristine shape right now and all the bunkers have been resanded.

First time here and definitely plan on coming back! This was only my second time playing on a course and it is veryyy challenging. The par fours are insanely long par fours and there are a ton of altitude differences with the holes. The staff was friendly and the chili dogs good! My only complaint is that the cart trail definitely needs to use a little tuning up. Very uneven in certain areas. Definitely looking forward to practicing and returning to this beautiful course!! The greens were all very well-kept!

A really nice course. It has challenging ,sloping fairways. The greens are well maintained and well crafted. Definitely one of the best courses in the Charlotte area and worth the short drive from Charlotte. Rates are reasonable as well.

Had a great time at this course with a group of 12 getaway. Very scenic with elevated tee boxes, Mother Nature in all her glory. Only thing missing was a waterfall The course was very well maintained. Greens were beautiful. Some challenges off the tee box if you're off your game. Small, friendly amount of staff present due to the small size of the facilities. No restaurant. This is a TRUE golf course where you go for the golf. They do have drink selections (alcohol yes), snacks, some sandwiches. Practice greens were immaculate. Good chipping area, and good driving range. Nice price too!!!Go there. Once you're off the tee box you'll see what I mean.

I was in the Charlotte area for business and flew in from Kentucky a day early to play this course. It was well worth the time. Course was in great shape and the greens were some of the toughest I had played all year. The layout was very challenging. From the green tees, slope rating was a 131, but I would've guessed more like a 140. Had a lot of fun.
