We ordered a bag of Dulce Dreams via Goodiebag, an app that partners with local businesses to reduce food waste. I'd been following Dulce Dreams on IG for a while, so was excited to see what we'd get in our surprise bag! Pick-up from the church on Selwyn was very smooth, and the owner explained the different flavors. I LOVED getting to try the Gansito and Coquito concha sandwiches. These were so unique and full of flavor. I tend to find conchas a bit dry, so the jam/whipped cream fillings in these were just perfect. We also got holiday M&Ms and peppermint conchas. They all looked so festive and had wonderful presentation. These are definitely some of the best pan dulces I've had, and we're so happy that Dulce Dreams calls Charlotte home!

Ah! I was so happy to see special edition fusion conch! Ube is my favorite flavor and I usually don't find it out here on the east coast unless I'm in a big city, like NYC. I was so happy to see that Norma made an Ube concha! Her conchas are sooooo tasty and moist unlike other conchas I've had in the past. They are so delicious I literally try to make it a point to grab one when I can, and when I saw UBE I had to make my journey that day. My brother was in town so we made a little field trip to the downtown Charlotte farmers market. So nice to be able to visit other local businesses too. This sandwich was SO good. The filling was so smooth and the bread was so fluffy. It wasn't too sweet, and it was the perfect treat for the weekend. Can't wait to try more conchas! Highly recommend. Follow her insta to see where she's posted up for the week and get you a concha.

Our Instagram friend, Norma, is following her dream to open this bakery with Mexican treats she grew up with. Follow her on Instagram for her weekly menu. Preorders usually open on her website on Mondays for pickup either Saturday or Sunday. You pick it up inside of City Kitch. Just check in on the iPad when you get there. My husband and I recently tried:- Fresas con Crema Concha (substitute for vanilla Concha)- Fruity Pebbles Concha- Dulce de Leche Stuffed ConchaThese are definitely the best Conchas I've had. They aren't as dry as some of the others I've recently sampled. The Fresas con Crema Concha was hands down my favorite. The strawberry and cream topping was the perfect complement to the Concha. I also loved the flavor of the Fruity Pebbles Concha. The Dulce de Leche Stuffed Concha was good, but I wanted more dulce de leche in the middle. She just released a concha french toast for this weekend, which I can't wait to try!

If you're a fan of Mexican pastries, then Dulce Dreams is a must-try. This Latino-owned business specializes in conchas - a sweet bread roll that is popular in Mexico and other Latin American countries. I recently had the pleasure of trying their conchas, and I was blown away by how delicious they were.Dulce Dreams doesn't have a physical storefront, but they go around town to different pop-up events and farmers markets. They also offer online ordering, which is a convenient way to get your hands on their tasty treats. The owner at Dulce Dreams is also friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. She is passionate about her products and happy to answer any questions you may have.

What an honor to had meet Norma- the owner and creator of this sweet goodies. After watching a Netflix documentary my son and I were looking for a local place that had a variety of conchas. I was able to preorder the same day all there was available was the vanilla and chocolate conchas. Which we were happy to support a small local business. When we go to the City Kitch, inside we scanned the QR code and it notify Norma in her kitchen space that I was there. Be patient, she is running her business solo for now. She came out with my order within 10 minutes. It's a unique space, keep in mind the current location it's where multiple small businesses rent out the kitchen to create their goodies. I am so proud of Norma, a Latina that still has a week day job but believe in herself and dream. it's working during the weekend to share her talent with our Charlotte community. The conchas were delicious! Can't wait to try the other flavors.

If I could give 0 I would! I have ordered from here several times before and the portions were worth the cost but now, for 10.00 each piece of cheesecake the portion is half the size. Very, very disappointing
